Re: Hearth Fire DLC?

It's been officially announced just now. You can build your own house from the ground up, starting from a simple cottage into something much, much more. You can even include stables and adopt children. Released September 4th (SOON!!!) on Xbox LIVE.

Re: Hearth Fire DLC?

Ignoring all the rumors, i'm pretty confident that Bethesda will pull off this next one. Dawnguard was great. Just too short to say that it took them seven months to get it out. I doubt they'll go into zombies to be honest, the rumor that made people think that was based off a tiny obscure bit of ...

Re: Hearth Fire DLC?

There's rumors going round that Hearthfire is a zombie related DLC. I reeeeeeeally hope not. Getting sick of seeing zombies in so many games recently. Why don't they make something fairly unique instead of jumping on the bandwagon? Vampires and werewolves, and now zombies - lack of originality ...

Re: Dawnguard.

I'd give it 9/10. It's overpriced, should be 1200. Has a brilliant side quest in it.

I agree it's wrong to keep you guys waiting. Especially the PC players. Here's to hoping you get it in the next couple of weeks!

1200 would have been a better price.

Re: Dawnguard.

I was expecting it to be longer and have slightly more content to say it took seven months to get out, but it was still great. Worth 1600MS? Dunno.

What'd you do with it?
I have no idea. It's just not in the Misc section of my inventory anymore.

Re: Dawnguard.

At least the voice acting as a whole is much better than Oblivion. (Apart from Terrence Stamp, Patrick Stewart, and Sean Bean, obviously. I mean the common voices.) In Skyrim's case, though, the voice acting for Farengar Secret-Fire may be the worst i've ever heard.

I actually thought he was very ...

Re: Dawnguard.

I would say the Forgotten Vale is the other large area. It is so beautiful htere I may need to change my wedding location. Frost Giants = tasty new food.
Where abouts is that? Is there a quest or two there?

You go there over the course of DG's main story

Re: Dawnguard.

I still don't know what the 'other massive area' is supposed to be. Is it to do with the quest 'Lost to the Ages' by any chance?

(The reason i didn't put that in spoilers is because it has nothing at all to do with the main quest).

Re: Dawnguard.

Bear in mind that i haven't completed it yet, i'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. Though that could very well go up when i complete it. Seriously, i cannot WAIT to finish that side quest. Just have to wait until July 8th or 9th.

Re: Dawnguard.

Don't avoid getting the DLC because of this. You'll be missing out on too much. Plus, it seems to be pretty random, the chances of attacks happening. I haven't had a single attack happen yet. I don't know how far i am through the DLC, but i'm pretty far i think.

Re: Dawnguard.

I have to say this may just be the best DLC i've ever played. SO worth the money.

Not gonna spoil anything, but i will say that there is a MASSIVE side quest with has nothing to do with the main DLC storyline. It's huge. I don't even think i'm a quarter of the way through it yet. Been doing it for ...
