Good lord, this [&@%!] gotta be on heroin or something.

I believe that in general, as long as you either have the block button already pressed, or press it at the perfect time, any melee attacks from the front are blocked. AFAIK you cannot block attacks from behind, or the sides.

With arrows, I *think* they have to actually hit your shield directly to ...

The only Mod I have ever used for Magic is called "Apocalypse: Magic of Skyrim" check my old post just above for a few more recommendations. (Note I havn't grabbed any more that jump to memory since that post, so there may be some newer ones that are better.)

In regards to female beautification ...

The IRC was both amazing, and the worst possible idea ever.

I loved it.

The nostalgia brings me back now and then also, but there's only about 4 new posts to read, so my holidays-in-the-past never last very long.

I agree haha, and yet when my enemy has a shield, and is dodging left and right, the shield seems to be the ONLY damn thing I can hit.

I don't have anything against Discord, I use it quite a bit for other things, but I just find it hard to follow a conversation/discussion with that many messages coming through so quickly. I miss the kinda slower pace of the forums, where you can read everything at your own pace, without other stuff ...

Yo.

Might be old-age, might be something else,

The discord seems quite active, but it seems to be primarily based on ESO, or lore from ESO.

This thread doesn't actually deserve it's own thread, but it's almost like a census.

Who actually still checks these forums. Newbies welcome, oldies ...

Over a year since the last post in RP??

Either discord is overpowered, or [&@%!] has changed dramatically

1. Baldurs Gate 1
2. Baldurs Gate 2
3. Oblivion
4. Civilization 2
5. Civilization 6.

I'm not biased. You're biased.

Why did Hat delete his post I miss Hat.

Double Post, but doing it so Zacky sees the notification.

Mods I have on XBOne:

Guards Armor Replacer by NordwarUA -
Gives the guards of each hold unique heavy/light armors, based on historical/fantasy settings (ie. Whiterun guards armor is based on the Rohirrim from LoTR.) Damn cool Mod ...

I just cycled through all the top-rated ones and grabbed things I liked the look of, mostly just enhancements (more spells, more armour/weapons etc.) though I've got one that adds in a stupendous amount of perks which makes for a great new-feel to the game.

A couple of graphics enhancements too ...

What kinda Mods were you looking for? Graphics, items, monsters, UI etc...

I've got a fair few, but none that reeeaaally change the game too much.

April fools! I don't have bones.

Alot of people remove them after a short period.

I understand completely, my pic was once stolen and used in a L'oreal advert.

Wouldn't be so bad, except I'm a dude.

Shadowscale wrote:I like how this forums look hasn't changed at all lol

It really hasn't.

Sure there are a few more sub-forums these days, and a while back we updated them to show more posts per page, but they look identical to the day I joined. I think it almost makes the nostalgia hurt even more

Apart from my Spotify playlist (Which is lit by the way.) I've been reliving my early 20's and listening to the entire Rammstein back-catalogue, in order.

Something about a large, angry German man serenading me is quite soothing.

Molag Bal XVIII

If you could "thumbs up" posts on this forum, that right there would have the Believe Thumb of Approval (TM).

I feel ya bro. (And I'm even forum-younger than you)...

[&@%!] it, I've had a couple beers. Scrib gets TWO thumbs.

Don't tell me my business devil-woman.

Back in my day, all us UESPoomers had to walk 20 miles uphill through the snow with no shoes, just to post in the Welcomes/Goodbyes thread.

What is happening in here? Did someone light the veteran-members beacon? Did you all see the light signal in the sky?
Most suspicious, people, most suspicious.

Why is it suspicious that all the UESPoomers decided to return all at the same time?

It's not like we're planning a takeover or anything ...

I'm young at heart...

And Nanza can pass for a 13 year old.

Scrib though, Scrib is old as [&@%!].

In ye olde times, and days of yore,
Twas UESP General forums galore.
But not so these days, (Though Beta's cray-crazed)

And now I need a drink.

At our age, it's starting to become a problem, so thank you.
