GRDT: Sorry for the wait. I have no idea how people balance work, school, a commute, and leaving time to do the things that make them not want to die, because I'm struggling. >.>

Don't sweat it man. They don't, either.

"When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands ...

Sees-In-Shade - Pale Wilderness

Sees-In-Shade, deeply confused, watched Khazi begin fleeing, and Nammu try to stop her, a hand still on the hilt of his poisoned sword. "What do you do? We should make hassste to the town!"

Sees-In-Shade - Pale Wilderness

Nammu's words took Sees-In-Shade through an emotional whirlwind, though the Argonian displayed little of it besides his toothy grimace. What Nammu described seemed less like a poison than a terminal and possibly contagious illness.

The last stop on the whirlwind ...

Sees-In-Shade - The Pale

Sees-In-Shade's face let off a disturbing twitch as he glared at Nammu. The young Argonian took a step closer to the aging Khajiit and took a deep breath, his tail dragging sullenly behind him.

Just when it seemed like he would begin yelling, or worse, the Argonian's ...

Sees-In-Shade - Pale Wilderness

"Thisss?!" Sees-In-Shade exclaimed. "What am I to do, drop it in my eye? And what isss it fixing? Do I need more, down the river? Thisss mussst be clear asss a sssteaming ssspring."

Sees-In-Shade - Pale Wilderness

The Argonian took the vial, holding it up between two fingers and giving it a little shake. "Thisss hasss a name?"

Sees-In-Shade - The Pale Wilderness

"Dawnssstar." Sees-In-Shade absent-mindedly tested the name on his tongue as he shuffled along. "A ssstar in the dawn. A sssurvivor." But not for long, he left out. He paused to see what Nammu was handling.

Sees-In-Shade - Pale Wilderness

The Argonian's vibrant green scales reflected the snow as he made his way out of the patch. Or they would have, except virtually every one of them not covered by his tattered brown leather armor were scratched or covered in dirt and snowberry stains. He felt the ...

Sees-In-Shade - The Pale

A dense patch of thorny snowberry bushes near the adventurers began thrashing wildly. The magical plant quickly sprouted a vibrant green tail with smatterings of crushed snowberry pulp, and even developed a voice.

" Waxuthil … kaoc !"

Sees-In-Shade horned, snowberry ...

TA2: Did SIS make the journey to the wilderness, or are the Falmer eating him?

Dwemer Ruins

"Kaoc," Sees-In-Shade muttered as it became clear Nammu had no intention of speaking plainly. Fed up with the old cat, he turned away and, oblivious to Nammu's treatment of the apparent corpse on the table, began searching back the way they came for another path which could take them ...

Dwemer ruins

Sees-In-Shade snorted as his tail swished about. "Xhuth, both of you, lay down the ssspoiled sssap and ssspeak plain! You wish to lay eyesss on the noble'sss corpse, ssso be it, but we mussst find the path!"

TA2: Can we speak to this guy at all? Is that what you're waiting on? He might know where the noble was taken.

Can we even go any further, with this field blocking our path? I don't recall any other paths being mentioned.

TA2: He's still alive?!? Yeah, totally missed that.

Dwemer ruins

Sees-In-Shade perked up at that thought, bobbing his head up and down enthusiastically at Khazi. "I bubble with agreement! Forget the inn; 'thisss one' nesstsss on an anvil, if the river flowsss that way!" he hissed with a rattle of his tail. "But let usss flow with it in the Now! We ...

TA2: As far as I understand it, the proximate cause of most if not all Dragon Breaks are the heroes of prophecy, the letters written in uncertainty whose choices may serve to tie linear time into a tangled knot. So not to buzzkill, but for the Dragon Break scenarios, who is the hero here? Or heroes ...

TA2: Any number of cop-outs available to cover the time gap. Maybe the cave group will get lost for a few days while traveling, maybe something makes time move slower in the Dwemer ruin, etc.

Dwemer ruins

Sees-In-Shade glanced inquisitively at Darkscale, wondering if the other Argonian was claiming Flacus' sword as one of the "valuables" he felt he deserved. Nammu's musings drew him back to the bigger picture.

"Waited?" Sees-In-Shade responded slowly, trying to follow the Khajiit's ...

Dwemer Ruins

"There isss no ... certainty in how the egg cracksss," Sees-In-Shade replied, stumbling for his words as the air began to thicken around him closer to the altar. "But I think it cracksss better with Flacusss' blade in my handsss... how can we passs thisss?"

TA 2: By the way, does SIS need to get himself checked for Skyrim herpes? Like, do I need to worry about him suddenly getting urges for ultra-rare steak, or perhaps biting his tongue more than usual?

Where would you put SIS' willpower?

TA2: Sorry for my tardiness, it's been crazy at work. So, what's the deal with this altar? Is that field which makes it harder to move closer still active, now that Nammu has grabbed the gem? I don't want stress SIS if I can avoid it. Don't want one of those ridiculously huge blood magic sutures to ...

Dwemer Ruins

Sees-In-Shade shot a glare at Nammu as the blade clanged against the stone floor. "Can you at leassst take care," he groaned sarcastically as he stooped to pick up his sword. "Not to draw more attention?"

He gingerly sheathed the blade, but found himself turning back to the altar ...

The Cave

The haggard Sees-In-Shade, still reeling from his near death followed by the extraordinary anguish of Nammu's "concern", found himself becoming frustrated by the Khajiit's double-talk. "Where is your concern for othersss when there'sss a puzzle to sssolve?"

The Argonian didn't wait for ...

The Cave

Sees-In-Shade watched Khazi find the blade and hand it to Nammu, and watching others trade his sword while he laid disarmed made the Argonian's instincts rebel with anxiety. Snapping out of his fugue state, he gingerly stood and whipped his tail experimentally. "'Chaurusss'? What?"

As ...

Cave

Sees-In-Shade forgot to scream as this bloody ritual sutured him back together. He laid on the ground, silently mouthing an agonized shriek, and continued to lay there for quite a bit longer. He was caught in a stupor of pain, increasingly mixed with existential relief, and lost track of ...
