Well, back to Skyrim after once again having a long hiatus... aaand I immediately messed up my DiD character

Re: Steam Mods Now Purchasable (UPDATE: No more)
Just putting my opinion here. I'm very glad the feature was removed for I think Valve/Bethesda approached this entirely wrong. The idea might sound good but the execution... oh boy the execution...

Re: Skyrim: Dead is Dead Thread
So after my previous epic fail, I restarted the character to have another try.
Abaax (II)
Failed to mention before that the fun thing about this character is that his race, gender, skills, goals, even difficulty level have entirely been decided with a dice.

Thank you.
The ENB used is Seasons of Skyrim:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23812/?
Quite nice though I think I'll try out some other options. I did't like how it appeared to... smooth out some of my characters' faces. I like the rugged look. Though maybe I can edit it to not to do that =P

I would have stopped playing Skyrim long time ago without the ability to customize my game with mods and use it as a creative tool as well.

Wow, this character looks really good. The worn out Stormcloak uniform, war paint, and hair style make her look like a survivor of the wild. If you don't mind, I could use her as inspiration for a ranger build i'm considering.

Fallen in love? Nope. Grown very fond of? Heck yeah. Some I prefer more than others for variety of reasons and some I might find quite nice to look at too.

. I have a couple of non-DiD characters who are higher level. Yakov the altmer mage is my highest one at lvl 52.

Was playing the DB questline today. During the Death Incarnate, I rushed in to the sanctuary to aid my brothers & sisters... and then I was greeted by a body of Veezara, completely naked except for his loincloth. I... do not want to know what those Penitus Oculatus members did to him.

Re: Does Skyrim have a leveling problem?
I never was a fan of the level scaling of the world though it's not nearly as bad in Skyrim as it was in Oblivion. In Oblivion I actually managed to ruin several characters because I leveled up "wrong" and only got to put 2 points (3 if I was lucky) in my attributes. So there I was gradually getting ...

Oh... and I also wish for a possibility to perform some freaking nonlethal take-downs. Now pretty much everything is solved with an axe/sword/maze and characters who don't focus on combat skills are at serious disadvantage (unless they just spam invisibility/paralysis/illusion and/or sneak ...

It would be sweet if they added a Hardcore mode like in Fallout: New Vegas. Would enhance the re-play value plus please the ones who want a more punishing, old-school RPG, without dismissing those who prefer a more casual experience. Like, in Skyrim we already have all these possibilities to cook ...

Re: About High Elves Psychology.
Like has been stated before, basically everything the other races do, has been based on their culture. Language, arts, crafts, laws, etc. There's also the whole lifespan difference thing. A 400 years old altmer arguing with a 40 years old human, could possibly feel like s/he's talking to an impudent ...
