Re: Skyrim: Mage Armor (perk) glitch?
One of my characters was a wizard who wore the Archmage's Robes. I like those because even with the hood you can still wear a circlet (and therefore a dragon priest mask). It was a fun build but certainly not as physically durable as the others. I have found that the main usefulness of the Mage ...

Re: Belathor - MIA!! Help please.
Ysolda will actually inherit The Bannered Mare if Hulda dies, not Belethor's shop. She and Hulda both make mention of this. She CAN end up in Belethor's though, but she has no merchant dialogue because she isn't supposed to be there. Even if she takes over the inn, her dialogue is bugged so you can ...

Re: Dwemer/Dwarven Ruins and all the strange items therein.
The bent dwemer scrap metal, large decorative dwemer strut, large dwemer plate metal, large dwemer strut, solid dwemer metal, and small dwemer plate metal can all be smelted into ingots. Depending on the size of the ruin, the carry weight of all of that can be considerably high, so a follower is ...

Re: Selling stuff and increasing Speech Skill.
Yeah, selling single high-value items will grant you more XP than selling a bunch of lesser items. For example, selling an item for $1000 will grant more experience than selling ten $100 items - either individually or collectively. Recently I was selling my stupidly powerful potions I'd made to ...

Re: A New Source of Stalhrim - BUGGED OUT!
The stalhrim deposits DO respawn but I think it takes a good while. The richest deposit is the stalhrim source that the map points out (close to the very place where you get the map from the Thalmor), and then there's two more deposits (I think to the NW) near some horkers. There's also a couple in ...

Re: Purity of Revenge (xbox360)
Hmmm. It looks like clearing Driftshade Refuge at some earlier time can cause this. Apparently, one fix is to load a save from BEFORE you started 'Blood's Honor' and then wait 30 days for Driftshade Refuge to reset. Then you can play through Blood's Honor and Purity Of Revenge should start. You'll ...

Re: Frida not giving radiant quest (Xbox 360)
Yeah, I snooped around a little bit, and it seems that having any other radiant quest can cause her to not have the right dialogue. This means that you'll have to do those quests, but I get the whole trying-to-be-good thing. I assume you're trying to become Thane, so why not just help other people ...

Re: Problem with 100% Spell Absorption not negating poison d
If I had to guess, I'd say that when the article mentions 'poison', it's referring to the effect that is triggered by a tripwire or something, and NOT a poison that's applied to a weapon. I don't have much experience with this though, as I have never used Miraak's set to achieve 100% spell ...

Re: Standard Reanimated Dead Don't Count?
Hmmm. Not sure about this one. For the last few builds where I've used it, my go-to way of powering up the Ebony Blade was to give money to the drunk beggar in Markarth and then kill him ten times by raising him with the Ritual Stone. That's clearly an exploit, I know, but it's the fastest way I've ...

Re: Questions Regarding DragonBorn DLC Items
As for 1-3, the appropriate articles on both the Wiki and UESP make no mention. My advice would be to run some tests yourself.
For #4, the article simply says it's a small chance. So I'd say no more than 10% of the time.
For #5, I'd say that depends. It weighs only 10lbs same as a regular dwarven ...

Hmmm. If you complete the 5/5 favors quest before Elisif asks you to, that will cause the bug where you have to help a sixth person in order to progress. Since you said the person in the GameFAQs article was having the same issue as you, and they said it was NOT the aforementioned bug, I'll assume ...

Re: Amulet of Julianos - where can you find them?
Yeah, I recently ran into this with finding an Amulet of Dibella. My advice would be to go to the Radiant Raiment in Solitude and check their stock. If they don't have it, then just wait two days and check again. It may take a little time, but they should eventually have it as they always seem to ...

Re: Blades or Greybeards?
I agree with some of the other users that neither choice makes that much of a difference in terms of gameplay. I sided with the Blades only once just to experience that facet of the game, and never again. I personally find Esbern and Delphine (especially the latter) to be more brash and impulsive ...

Re: Which moments in Skyrim gave you goosebumps?
One part that was creepy for me was sneaking into Castle Volkihar with Serana. I was with the Dawnguard the first time so I was behind enemy lines AND exploring derelict portions of an already eerie structure. I also found the temple of Auriel in the Forgotten Vale to be an awe-inspiring sight when ...

Re: Skyrim Moments You Just Have to Share!
One particularly funny thing occurred in a bandit-held cavern. I can't remember the name of the place, but the head honcho was drunk and challenging the others to a brawl. There were a few cages with animals inside, one of which was opened by a lever. Instead of using said lever, I picked the door's ...

Re: Blades or Greybeards?
With my four previous characters I've stuck with the Greybeards. It was really not for practical reasons but ideological ones. Delphine and Esbern are beyond stupid. So Paarthurnax must die because he did some bad stuff ages before? Um, what?! He may have been Alduin's second-in-command, but he ...

Currently on character number 5. He is a reclusive lvl 70 Dunmer wizard (inspired by Master Neloth) who lives at Highpoint Tower Northeast of Raven Rock. Re: Which moments in Skyrim gave you goosebumps?
Good choices, but those were more like 'holy s***!' moments for me. The first time sneaking into Castle Volkihar with Serana gave me the heebie jeebies. Knowing that a powerful Vampire Lord and his progeny were inside made me pretty uneasy. Come to think of it, many of my goosebump moments had to do ...

Thanks to everyone for the advice. I thought about using other people as thralls, and I even collected a bunch of permanent corpses (like Orchendor) that I keep at Windstad Manor. Hello everyone!
I have a question about obtaining certain thralls in Skyrim. For the last couple of days I've been trying to find a couple of Master Vampires that I can reanimate. The thing that bites (pardon the pun) is that since my character is level 81, the boss vamps I'm running into are ...

There is an exploitable glitch on 360 that allows for multiple REAL followers. And by 'real' I mean they can accept commands and carry items just like any other follower, as opposed to just being summoned or temporary due to a current quest. If you youTube search 'Skyrim Glitch - Multiple Followers ...
