Re: Xbox: Dark Brotherhood Attacks, Only Once ??
When i reached level 6, i was attacked by one lowly assassin. Since i collect unique item's, i so craved his dart. Unfortunaly he threw it at me before i was able to kill him. So i decided to wait for another. I waited for weeks and none came for me. I figured i had to complete the main quest, but ...

Re: Moving items at a distance (glitch)
Then I misunderstood your original posting. The way it is phrased in the addition to the page doesn't clearly state that you are unable to pick things up near your character, just that you can pick things up near the camera as well, regardless of your player's position. I took this to mean that you ...

Re: Moving items at a distance (glitch)
Well, it got removed because:
"not a glitch at all. You can pick up things that are near you"
-Jeancey
Apparently being able to move items that are a distance that's unreachable from your character while stationary doesn't constitute as a glitch, I suppose.

Moving items at a distance (glitch)
Hey folks, I made a topic about this glitch years ago but I guess it was never implemented into the Wiki. It's simple, you switch to third person view, scroll the camera out till the item you want to pick up is right in front of the camera, open the menu and pick up the item with the mouse. Seems it ...

Re: Best way to use the Ebony Blade for non-mages
I got the Ebony Blade before the Dark Brotherhood and it got 10 kills easily enough. for some reason people like a particular vampire counted as a friend and when I poisoned (through pickpocket) a soldier making his rounds from town to town I got a kill just because I had the sword equipped when he ...

I wonder who would think the Dovahkiin's soul is worth fighting the other claimants over... I don't think Sithis cares as much as the others.

the Imperial Legion ain't what it used to be. back in Oblivion they were a proffesional fighting force but nowadays the need for more soldiers on the field has forced them to lower thier standards and try to get troops out of training faster. hear how every legionaire (though I don't think they're ...

Re: Escaping prison - any point?
I actually found it dumb that your skills went down...IRL in prison people constantly train when there, its all they have to do. Pushups, sit ups, other various exercises, illegal things they shouldnt be doing in prison...It honestly doesn't make sense that they would get worse at it, if anything ...

Finally, I get to explore Black Marsh! don't you know that this game is based like 800 years before Argonians got tails? Besides the fact that this hasn't previously been mentioned as far as I'm aware, how would this effect the lore? We don't know that much about the Second Era to begin with, and ...

I don't have Skyrim of PC, Steam has given me lots of trouble in the past. I was recently thinking of getting it on the PC as well but since the DLC are supposed to come out a month earlier for the XBox, I think I'll be waiting till the game of the year edition is released.

well, you could just go to Clearspring Cave for the Bow of the Hunt. you can't unenchant it though.
also, I have 2 Poachers Axes, it can respawn. but dungeons tend to stop respawning after the first of second run through them, for me anyway.

Re: dovahkiin vs grey warden
According to canon, the Warden is a mage, and mage's can most certainly use magic. As for the Dovahkiin, he's a Nord, again, going strictly by canon. He's neither an "impreal" nor an orc, and at any rate, neither of those races are much good in a fight anyway. Shouts can be used quicker with the ...

Ethereal would help, so would the indestructible Odahviing, maybe. how about Storm Call? Calls storm for 180 seconds. Each target within 150 feet is struck by a 80 damage lightning bolt every 3-6 seconds, sound a lot more powerful than any single spell from Dragon Age, but I never finished that game ...

how about making echanted items with effects that reduce the cost of a spell. a Falmer Helmet can be worn with a Circlet to et it past 100% spell cost reduction, unless you've already leveled Enchanting to 100 with perks, then you won't need the Falmer Helmet. once that's done just cast expensive ...

I don't know about the Notched Pickaxe in particular but you can get your Smithing up to 320 with Enchanting and Alchemy, 420 if you include the Smithing Perks. so a 100 point cap shouldn't really be limiting you.

there are 3 things I like about Dwemer armour:
1: no NPCs wear it
2: it doesn't change for females, which makes my tough female followers look much more intimidating
3: it looks great with the 10th Dragon Priest Mask
and if those DLC rumours are substantiated then we may be getting Crossbows ...
