Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
I don't know if this one has been mentioned yet, but... Lorkhan, maybe? He doesn't get discussed much in Oblivion that I recall, but Mankar Camoran does make mention of him during his speech.

Re: Oblivion Plagiarised... Again!
Attempts at humor (that don't seem to translate well in a text medium ) aside... Looks like blatant plagiarization to me. Didn't even change enough of what they ripped off to make it less conspicuous. What did they do, just rip off entire cells?
Leaves me wondering what other parts of that ...

Nah, plagiarism is when you try to cover up ripping someone else off. That crap didn't even attempt to cover it up. I could spot the obvious similarities WITHOUT my glasses on, and I'm about half-blind. :P

Re: Birthday Thread
I prefer this version of the Birthday Song. Happy Birthday, Caz! :D
Maybe it'll give ya a smile at least. :D Sorry to hear (or read, as the case may be) about a death in the family, Caz.
Edit: I guess I'm not the only one guilty of doing this, I just didn't get put on Youtube.

I just disabled Adblock Plus and turned Norton's browser protections up wide-open, and it's not spotting anything. Still a little green check mark up there in the browser add-ons bar.
So, either the AV's you guys are using is pulling false positives, or Norton's missing something. Seeing as we're ...

Finally, something besides acoustic, haha.
But I can't be one to talk, I'm listening to Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal .
I'm like a continuous episode of "The music your parents forbid you to listen to". :P

'cos Joker's awesome. ;P
It's from one of Edi and Joker's best conversations in Mass Effect 2.

*Joker's Face*"
Oh yeah, and it's all grainy 'cos of the size limit on avatars.. I have a JPEG, but it's too big, so converted it to GIF. >_>

Sorry, I just couldn't watch it all the way through. Too much lameness all in one place to sit through like 9.5 minutes of it. I have to admit though, the commentary was a bit amusing.

The first time I ever played Oblivion, I was going through the tutorial dungeon and the wall collapsed for the combat tutorial with the rats. Having finished Morrowind a short while ago, I thought nothing of it. I drew the steel short sword I picked up, got ready for them, and...promptly jumped in ...

Re: Death Metal
Retarded growling, I can understand. But in a song like this , I don't think regular singing would work.
And if anything, I prefer growling over screaming. Look at how high my pitches go!
I agree, regular singing just wouldn't have come out right with that song. Sounded good, though.

I think you're mistaken about the hawk, but I know exactly what you mean. That sound.. it can only be one thing. The death cry of a pterodactyl. I know this sound all too well. See, that GWAR show I mentioned with the 40 other bands? Yes well, about 35 of those other bands apparently had singers ...

I can't stand Rap/Hip-hop in any language. Period. Tends to sound worse to me when it's not in English than when it is. :? And Josjie, that was just as bad. Only the video was worse. They're all trying to be gangster/thug and rapping in French. You people should really go clean your ears out. :P ...

Re: Death Metal
If I listen to Death Metal, it's usually more towards the Melodic side of the line. But, if there's one thing that'll turn me off in a heartbeat, it's the "death metal growl". It's something I can only describe as putting a microphone in the mouth of a snarling, rabid, rottweiler. Screaming is fine ...
