Actually, I remember this name. I spent so much time around here that I just sort of osmosed everyone's usernames. Even now, after I basically haven't posted here for five years, it's like a second skin navigating around, knowing exactly which buttons to press and where threads are ...

Ooh you guys have a discord? Way to join the 21st century  I had assumed by the brown background and old bb layout that maybe things hadn't progressed past IRC (and that chat was a total ballache to moderate as well so good riddance)

Maybe I'll pop in and say hi. And since I'm helping with the ...

Hey. So you guys still use that FAQ I wrote when I was like 17? Man... so many years.

I've been playing a lot of ESO lately and it put me in nostalgia mode. Thought I'd come and check out the old stomping ground. Who's still around from those days and remembers my late-teens emotional instability ...

I thought I'd post quickly about a weird one I've picked up on my current playthrough. I just finished the main quest at 60 hours in (it's a hardcore, no fast travel, Frostfall + iNeed run, just bear with me) and I haven't once visited Falkreath.

It was about 30 hours in when I noticed that the ...

So I thought I may as well share my experience of the beta I participated in about a month ago.

What I will say is that I thought the game was impressive from a technical standpoint. I didn't experience any lag, or desync, or any other real indications that the game was still in beta. It felt ...

I feel a bit guilty for posting elsewhere and not checking in. Hi! How are you guys doing?

In fact, I'll ask you my standard set of catch-up questions that I ask all my friends coming back from university: 1. How goes the studying? 2. Have you sorted out the thing with those people you were going ...

That's it!* I was with them for a month or two after my old outfit (Iron Vanguard) disbanded. I had some great times with IVGD but I didn't feel like starting over with a new outfit and ended up drifting away from big platoon events entirely. Now I mostly log on when I've got a spare hour or ...

So I haven't posted here in a while, but there's something about your username that is familiar to me, and I'm sure I'm not just talking about the plant in Morrowind. I also play Vanu on Cobalt (name's Ngasta ) and I feel like maybe I've run you over once or twice because I'm not a very good driver ...

I am a man that can never die.

Maybe I'll see you two around some time. Take care.

If you go to the settings menu and click on 'View Account History' under the Account tab, it gives you a list of all the games you've bought/been gifted, and by what method. Not sure if that is helpful or not, since there are no dates listed.

My standard video game recommendations for this situation are Deus Ex and Mass Effect. Don't like shooting? Deus Ex can be played without killing a soul, and Mass Effect can be played as an incredibly talky, languid space opera TV show-type-thing. Don't like dumb games? They're both arguably the ...

I'm pretty sure I just went to the best restaurant in the world and I only had to wait an hour for a table. Basically I had an alcohol-free Cosmopolitan with my mind-blowing four-course meal and it still managed to taste like the real thing. And I've never met table staff who seemed so genuinely ...

Aaand I'm back in New York. Fabulous as ever. I was even able to cross Rhode Island and Conneticut off my list on the drive down.

I'd say this place hasn't changed a bit but there's actually a massive new building at the end of the street my hotel is on.

I just want to say that I like the idea of the US university system. It's like a pick and mix degree centre. In the UK you basically have to decide on your future career when you're about 14.

That may be how I wound up with A Levels in maths, physics and ... Russian. If I have to study in the UK I ...

My parents never kept alcohol in the house because they figured (correctly) that I'd get at it if they did. So they used to get it when we went out for meals as a learning experience, and now I like to think I understand the concept of moderation.

I guess I find it weird that, in general, guns ...

What's the deal with the total ban on alcohol for under 21s in this country? In the UK, you're allowed to have beer or some such equivalent with a meal if your over 14 and a responsible adult buys it and supervises you while you drink it. Just now I had the nicest mac & cheese I've ever had but it ...

This thing is telling me it's Generalno1's birthday.

You know, I was just looking through some reeealy old PMs. There's a whole lot of hurt and regret buried in there, but for every dark memory, there are three more happy ones.

General, I just wanted to say, it's an honour to know you, and I ...

Why are you in Boston again?
There're two possible answers to that question. You're either asking me to remind you why I'm here, or wondering why I'm here once more. The answers are are that I'm here to visit MIT, and I've never been before but did a while ago mention that I was going to be here ...

Well, here I am in Boston, Massachusetts. Its raining. Feels just like home.

There is, however, a shop just down the road that does the best green tea ice cream I've ever had. I may end up having it for breakfast. Don't tell anyone.

Good show, old bean.

Oh screw this game. I've been trying to trigger the grandmapocalypse for days now. I just don't have time to sit there and wait for cookies any more. I'd leave it on in the background but I think the huge numbers are taking up so many resources that I can't even start other games over the top of it.

Called it.

Looks intriguing. Apparently the haptic feedback works really well at giving the trackpads a sense of physical presence, so it's not like trying to play with a touchscreen. Which always sucks.

I doubt I'll buy one though. Not unless I can get a good deal on it.

So after thinking about this for 23 seconds, I've decided that since the O symbol represented the OS and the [O ] symbol represented the OS running on dedicated hardware, then the O+O symbol must be the OS paired up with that alternative input device Gabe's been muttering about for a while.

You ...

I'm sorry, I know I'm a little late to the party, but

Mr Flibble's very cross.

Enjoy your stay.

Really, you've got to watch out for the messages left in dripping blood rather than spray paint.
