I would happily take your internet Savilius, but there are probably some South Koreans who consider that painfully slow.

3 miles away in the next town there's a fibre optic network! Yet here I am....

The first things that came into my head were the Artemis Fowl books which I enjoyed a few years back. Not the best source of Lore but I did enjoy the description of magic being another form of energy and thus subject to energy conservation laws. It was also IIRC extremely quantifiable with each user ...

I am glad this thread is still going
I'm going to have to break out my F12 key at some point.

I respect the creators of electro and the players of instruments.
Its a bit like the difference between photography and painting; Musicians are influenced and inspired by memories and the world around them just like painters. Electro producers use samples, synths and mix them to produce something ...

Ok so I kinda drifted off into reality, visited Africa, got a girlfriend, played some Tekkit etc etc BUT Skyrim was calling me back so I'm going to try and wedge myself back in here if nobody minds?

That is, if anyone is still there.......

I'd reward him for getting a functional tractor into Minecraft.

As Jakarius321 mentioned the AMD/ATI 'discrete' mobile cards are *not* traditional dedicated GPUs - the naming is (probably intentionally) misleading.

That said, here's a video of someone with a very similar machine playing Skyrim:

Looks *acceptable ...

Ah ok, the only Int I'm doing is Int 2 Graph Com, I wanted to take it Higher next year but the columns didn't work out so I'm doing Chemistry for one more year than I'd planned but I'm hoping to pick up Graph Com again in 6th year if my brain hasn't leaked from my eyeballs by then.

@Gideon Some ...

No, Scottish Standard Grade. I'm going to assume that AP is a higher qualification.

So you did standard grade English then? Remember Wilf the Dog? That was silly how it started trending on twitter.

In a perfect world that would be £500 but sometimes computers cost more than they should in the UK.
That's looks like a pretty good deal to me though Scozzar.

Its hard to know from looking at specs since they never include laptop graphics cards on requirements lists. You need to find someone else that knows more than I do (shouldn't be too hard here in good ol' UESP-ville) or find a review or video of the laptop playing recent games.

Are you doing Highers at the moment? I've already had 5 of my Standard Grades so I'm looking forward to a 2 week break Tuesday after next

How many other people are doing exams at the present? I've got Chemistry on Monday. :)

Wait.... I've got Chemistry on Monday
I have the same. I'm not worrying... Or am I..?

I'm doing past papers and revising quite a bit but to be honest Chemistry is one of my best subjects. It was ...

All I can say without going too deeply into specs and price vs performance is that my cousin got a laptop around the £700 mark (special offer down from £1000 iirc) and it plays Skyrim pretty smoothly at 1080p, no AA but its not even needed on a smaller screen (which is a nice by-product).
But it ...

Hey no problem, this sort of theory sort of gets drilled into you when you have to practise a multitude of scales over 3 octaves for Grade 5 piano

If the key signature says that F should be sharp (in G Major's case on the top line of the treble clef) then any F you play is always sharp unless marked as natural ♮ .

So if I've understood your question correctly then yes any note denoted to be played as sharp or flat by the key signature should ...

Wait....I've got Chemistry on Monday

Well, you should make some tutorials on how to build certain machines with it!

Also, if you're using Equivilent Exchange and RedPower 2, you should totally make a Red Matter Toolset machine.

Full Recipe list for this thing was: 22 Tin
15 Sticks
14 Iron ingot
7 Wood Planks
27 Cobble
114 Redstone ...

Honestly, you should try and get the Technic pack installed.

If I ever get minecraft, I can show you how to build a generator that can make enough power to keep 3 quarries running at once. More then enough to keep the entire village's machines running.

Tekkit is great fun; I've been playing it ...

I used to have that mod.
Didn't last very long....

Actually if it was compatible with Tekkit I might go back to it; see what them angels would make of my tesla coils

I'm starting to feel like I'm the only person that hasn't encountered a game breaking bug...
Hell even the couple of CTD's I've had were mod related. Am I just lucky or something?

Why is it always during the best conversations that you end up walking into doors?

No French Canadians here I don't think, I've got family living all over the place but none in Canada.

I've always considered my hair dark brown
