Thanks for the link. It looks like I will not be able to remove just the latest patch. There is a way to remove all the patches, but I wont be able to play Shivering Isles until I re install the patches.

Can you play with the difficulty slider in the middle of the game, or only when you start a new game? and if so how do you get to it in the xbox 360 version?

I must be missing something. Are you saying that you can hide your items somewhere and then start a new game alltogather with a new character and then go to that location and fing the items from the previous game? I though that when you start a new game everything will get reset.
