I created a mage/assassin who stole the souls of innocent bystanders who were walking from town to town. Then I would descecrate their bodies. I wore Black Hand Robes with Umbra at my side and was buffed with magical spells like paralyze and such.

1) Oblivion would not work on my computer, nor would it be able to install on my computer. 2) Why should I spend $60 on a game I already own and on something like a soundtrack where I can find it for somewhere cheaper or for free?

Actually yes because most of the sites I go to for trying to download the soundtrack usually requires something I don't have or some site thats blocked. I just need a list of sites that I can access to download the soundtrack easily and without too much trouble. Thnx

Try to re-download it and see what happens. You may have to buy a new disc but I hope that's not the case.

Don't you just hate it when a quest character dies mysteriously and you can't complete the quest because that idiot of an NPC dies prematurely. But at the same time it can be very interesting because you then find yourself wanting to investiage how this person was killed, why and what was the motive.

My guess is that the strain of doing one thing for so long has screwed the disc up, not allowing you to reload and such. It could be also a glitch but I can't be too sure unless I was able to play the game so these are just speculations. Anyways, try to reload it again and again, maybe find some way ...

Weka's right. Your problem may lay in the amount of graphic settings you've turned out, like if you've maxed out how high the graphics look or the detail in grass. Definatly try tuning it down a bit if its really high or fairly high and see if that makes a difference.

You make an excellent point, ganna. I'm good with making a sentence or a story sound good, but I'll admit that I'm terrible when it comes to editing my own stuff or sometimes spelling stuff out. And that's where editors come in. Thanks for the introductions everyone!

Either way, there are many ways to still get Oblivion, even if your town doesn't sell it.
