^ I am a nitpicky perfectionist? :V Ahaha, but seriously though, I draw my lines in one continuous stroke, so it takes a bit of practice (and a steady/relaxed hand) to get it looking just right. Most of the time my lines are 99% luck XD I also use a small brush and sharpen the lineart layer... just because my art needs to be clean like that ; w;

So do you just keep hitting undo when you don't get it right?

Yeap, pretty much ; w; I was trained to use a pen when I took figure drawing classes, so I would learn to work WITH the mistakes instead of trying to backpedal on them. So I don't hit the undo button as often as most people think ; w; I've been meaning to post a quick video about how I do lineart (it's really the only thing I'm ever confident about art-wise XD) but I'll need to find the time to do it ^w^

EDIT: Since I didn't want to double post and I couldn't wait to put this up :V Actual art that I don't hate ahahaha

Watch out, the file's prolly a little big on smaller resolution monitors, so load at your own risk :>

Spoiler:

“I swear loyalty to House Allard, to protect its good name, to protect all that it holds value to, to serve the good city of Daggerfall. I, Lord Alrek Allard, swear to uphold all responsibilities expected of me, to see that my duties are served and that this noble house remains strong in times of strife. To this, my fellows, I shall drink.”

Because who says I need to give characters happy endings all the time? Plot twist: He's actually really miserable about this turn of developments :V

I love your art style! Reminds me of a well animated Disney movie, with a touch of serious! :D

Oh goodness you guys are wayyyyy too kind to little old me ; w; <3

Frost Mage >> Wouldn't be the first time I've heard that ; w; Not that I mind of course-- Disney has some of the best artists on hand, I can only hope to be as good as them ♥

Avron >> YOU CAN TOO DRAW ; w; Based on the sketches and stuff you've posted here, you're actually really, really, really good ; w;

Wow how long has it been since I posted? Xp

Anyway! A new bit of artwork from me, more sappy things too :V

Spoiler:

And so they read prayers and sang songs, recited eulogies and cried about the days long past. But the late Lord’s children were all huddled at the back of the service.

Lillie, the eldest, beckoned for her two brothers— Basille; a strong knight, so full of purpose and duties, a man whose strength not only lay in swordplay, but also in valor. She beckoned for Alrek, a studious scholar, always left amazed at the vast wonders of the world, so eager to know everything there was.

When they came before her, she embraced them, and their arms too, enveloped each other.

“Blood is thicker than water,” she told them, her tears held back, but her voice cracking, “So please don’t fight any more. Promise me, you two.”

Alrek and Basille looked to each other— suddenly the petty arguments meant nothing. Suddenly the frayed kinship between them renewed.

It was Alrek who broke the silence, “I promise.”

“As do I.”

On account that he's going to be too small when I place him in his base group picture and even smaller in the larger group picture, I decided to give a sneak peak of POMC's character, Eändíré, from Helcêh's Corruption.

Yes, this one will do quite nicely

Fan art for TES V: Skyrim.
Well-selected though it might be, Rargal's cattle collection is limited to humans. To Vingalmo this is beyond unsatisfactory. He demands the blood of an Altmer, and the worthy thrallmaster hastens to oblige him, capturing a certain Thalmor, who has managed to escape after the craggy wretch of a city he was stationed in was taken over by the Stormcloaks and everyone presumed him dead... Maybe he would have been better off if that were true.

I'm loving all the art in here! I wouldn't be surprised if you guys were undercover Bethesda artists!

Something I did after joining uesp forums... this forum spurred me to start doodling again after so many years. I hope to draw some of my fav bad guys too like Alduin and Dagoth Ur and Dagon... maybe all of them fighting together or something.

We all know whose skull is superior
Just a bit of random Skyrim silliness with Ondolemar and Kiara, prompted by my recent re-reading of the Hound of the Baskervilles.
(And that's certainly what Kiara's hair looks like when she lets it down).

Wow, I can't believe this thread only has 3 pages. You guys are all fantastic artists!

My current project has been a series of Doctor Who portraits, but unfortunately I don't think my post count is high enough yet to post the link.

I've been tempted to do portraits of my Oblivion and Skyrim characters. The only problem being that I've been distracted lately actually PLAYING Oblivion and Skyrim.
Although after seeing some of the art here...

@Skullclutter: Welcome to the forums! I am sure that a mod can arrange this posting links business for you. I'd be happy to see you share your art! :D

Before Morokei came along
Fan art for TES V: Skyrim.
Six friends from the College of Winterhold are goofing about in the light of the Aurora, enjoying the beauty of the night, and filled to bursting point with the energy of youth and the kind of happiness that warms us when we know that friends are near. Little do they know...
Going from left to right: Girduin, Elvali, Atmah, Hafnar, Savos, Takes-In-Light.
With the use of an edited screenshot from the game for the background, and of the lyrics from the High Hopes song by Pink Floyd.

Thank you so much for the appreciation, Dovahkiin2012! :D

The Green-Eyed Monster
Fan art for TES V: Skyrim.
I haven't done Dragonborn with Kiara yet, but when I do, this is what is going to happen. More or less.
The title is by no means a reference to Ondolemar himself. He is a jerk working for one of the most evil organizations around, but I would never, ever call him a monster.

OK, It looks like I can finally post outside links now, so here's the last piece of art I've finished. Not Elder Scrolls related but I'm spoilering it since it may be a bit big:

Professor, there's a jester in my head
That's totally me during the lecture on the UK parliament from last year's British and American Studies course.
I captured the incident so long afterwards because I seem to be in a Cicero mood right now. Image

Glad I could make you guys laugh!

Do you really want to hurt me,
Do you really want to make me cry?

Yet another misadventure of my Skyrim player character, Trallas Marvallyn.
Trallas is very, very proud, and revels in his role as the Dragonborn, the heroic savior of the land, yadda yadda. He sees dragons as about the only adversaries worthy enough of a being as majestic as himself, and so every time a dragon that he is fighting all of a sudden decides to fly off and kill a mudcrab, it breaks his poor arrogant little heart.
