Odral is basically the Governor/Mayor of Caldera.

Cunius is for the East Empire Company, and can be forced to either surrender or be killed as an enemy of Redoran/Caldera/etc.

We could definitely take the idea of Odral further. House Redoran could offer him shelter and protection, for both he and his lover, in order to gain his support. Blackmail might involve the ledger found in the other Redoran quests involving the area, and of course there is always the 'chase him out of Vvardenfell option'. For negotiation, House Redoran could help House Hlaalu prosecute him, ensuring the mine is operated in a more pleasing manner, and letting House Hlaalu retain the mine (might work better for the House Hlaalu side of things though).

Perhaps, but the mine would have to be co-operated by Redoran and Hlaalu officials.

On the Redoran side, co-operation, but on the Hlaalu, full Hlaalu operation, but by newly instated, clean officials?

I 'suppose' but only with the mine.

But the City becomes a full Redoran city. Be you the Mayor/Governor or someone else you may choose.

Is that good?

For Redoran negotiation, Odral would be replaced by Redoran and Hlaalu staffers. House Redoran believes that Caldera is theirs, so I guess depending on how well you can negotiate, a possible/probable outcome is that the town becomes Redoran, although it would still retain it's Imperial feel.

Right.

And if you take over, you can become the Governor yourself and fully lead Caldera to a more Dunmerized future.

If you take it by force, then the influence of House Redoran would be much stronger, and the Hlaalu influence would be removed. The city/town at present has a very negligible Dunmer presence, but that would be increased if Redoran came to power. New inhabitants perhaps? However, the Guards would remain Imperial, although ... perhaps you could implement your own Redoran Guards, at least within the Governor's Hall.

New inhabitants, more Redoran guards to out do the Imperial Legion population.

Construction of a Manor, Temple, Morag Tong hub and so forth.

That could work quite well for the post-questline. I like the idea of a Temple at the very least, and maybe a Redoran barracks near the Mine, with guards in the Governors Hall? There needn't be a Manor though, as the PC can move into the Governor's, saves us modding time.

Alright, and yes Redoran Barracks near the Mine to defend it. With Redoran guards in the hall to show off Redoran colours (maybe some Redora flags out front in the castle?)

Sounds good. Banners are definitely acceptable, maybe even on the two guard towers.

Alright, then this means the Redoran-story Arch is pretty much completed for thought process.

Yeah, we might need to fill in some of the blanks in between Council and battle, as far as quests, but that seems fairly well rounded and fitting. At some stage I'll put it all together.

This sounds amazing! I really want this! You guys are excellent modders! Say, Duruza you could make a Battle for the East mod. With the characters!

That's the thing - me and Duru are primarily focused on three mods.

This, a mod that involves the Great Houses in Skyrim, and a mod for House Indoril in Vvardenfell.

That and Battle for the East would involve all of Morrowind - which means we would have to ask Tamriel Rebuilt if we could use their Mainland Morrowind textures.

Yes, we do want you.

And what do you specalize in with mod creation? Scripting, dialog, quest-building? Perhaps using some textures?

I have no clue about how to make new meshes and textures, so I can't help there. I can help writing the story line and try and set up dialogue and scripting (although I can't say I'm anything more than an amateur for the last two there). I can also think logically if you want, and try and spot potential conflicts and bugs.

Well the thing is we won't exactly be creating new textures.

but rather using old textures (Some enlarged Redoran banners or small ones, A Temple after Redoran victory) and just placing new NPCs/creating new ones. (Redoran Guards in the Mine, in the Castle, some Temple NPCs, and so on)

You could also look over me and Duru's convo for Caldera's War; and point out either complications or things you agree with.

Oh, I can add new NPCs and stuff, no problem. Cell design is something I can do without much issue.
