I actually think that most armour in the game looks nice. My favourite set of armour and weapons is Elven, but I also like Glass, Amber, Mithril and Leather. Steel also looks good, in my opinion, but I wouldn't consider using it.

I don't like any of the helmets in the game :/

But glass, amber, leather armors are my favourite and for clothes I usually choose a set of robes and a hood + sandals.

This, they all look off the mark, and I like to see my face anyway. That being said, the added bonus to armour ratings and enchantments means I normally do wear one, especially into battle. I also mix in an enchanted hood, as they look slightly better.

Elven and Madness armour are the best by far.

I agree.....
It would be better if you could see your hair while wearing a helmet

I love love love the Drothmeri tunic, it just looks sophisticated, yet still, intimidating. Well, that's what I think at least.
I don't care for hoods all that much, cause most of my characters hate getting their heads shaved EVERY time they put one on..

Yeah I don't like the helmets either, except Daedric. But I don't really use Daedric. Instead of helmets I use hoods. Great battlemage look right there

Trueness!! I forgot about the daedric 'cause closed helmets are what I'm yearning for :D And your right about the hoods too, they go well with pretty much any kind of character.

Glass boots
Chainmail greaves
Dark green shirt
Steel gauntlets
Dwarven helmet.

Recipe for best looking character ever.

Seriously though, Amber and Madness both look amazing, but Iron or Legion armour is probly my favourite looking. (for someone who doesnt actually use heavy armour this is strange, I know.)

I love Leather, minus the helmet and shield, with a Zealot hood.
For clothes, I like the Huntsman pants, moccasins and the flax tunic.
