What is you're least favorite quest in Oblivion? Mine is the stupid Shield of the Crusader...stupid Conjurers and the even more stupid puzzles...and the traps...those too

The Purification, not because it was bad story-wise, but because...

Spoiler:
You had to kill off your Dark "family". Especially the coolest Vampire evar, Vicente Valtieri.

The Ultimate Heist because its over hyped. I spent ages preparing for it and its essentially just one very big dungeon with a bit of sneeking.

With chameleon and detect life its much easier than I thought it would be.

Now I'll stop worrying about it, thanks :D My least favourite quest is Purification, for the same reason as given by OblivionAnna. And Crucible quests as well, because I don't like the exterior of that part of the city, and because my game always hangs there. As for the quests that I don't like plot-wise, I can't come up with any right on the spot. Perhaps I love this game too much :D

Pilgrimage was a pain. It seemed to go on forever.

Yeah, those blasted Wayshrines are literally "scattered across the Wilderness"...

I withdraw my first quest and submit this one instead.
I also hate The Arena cause it's long and repetitive. Plus it never finishes and messes up my journal.

Quests. The Recommendations. Takes forever when I start a new character and want to advance in the guild.

My least favorite has got to be the one where you gather Calipers and Tongs for a guy in Crucible...a lot of work for not much money. Though that guy does have an interesting personality.

Basically, all the quests where you have to run around and perform monotonous actions can be rather frustrating. Which reminds me of Allies for Bruma. I HATE Oblivion Gates.

It isnt the absolute worst but it could of used alot more work. Saving Battlehorn castle from a "seige" of bandits or the marauders. It is only like 4 people. They could of atleast let them come randomly in bigger waves so you would have to defend constantly and make actual use of the castle. Im not saying have a rival castle across the street but just have bandit camps scattered around that sends war partys to attack. Im pretty sure I'm nagging alot but I think it would have been cool if it was on a cliff next the ocean.

Probably the MQ as a whole. "OMG YOU'RE THE SAVIOR OF ALL TAMRIEL! Here's an overhyped piece of tin, and a title with no benefits. Enjoy!"

EDIT: Also, the one where you have to guide Elante of Alinor through a cave of Daedra. The woman has no sense, and tends to wander off alone when I'm slaughtering baddies.

Or to just stand there and stare into nothingness so that I have to push her.

The Killing Field. If I try this quest at any level higher than Level 1, Antus ALWAYS dies, and his brother usually does, too. Even at level 1, I always save just before the fight, because I'm guaranteed to have to try multiple times to keep them both alive.

Nirnroot quest. Why the fcuk would I want to run across the whole of Tamriel, probably nearly dieing in the process to get a couple of potions at the end of it?? Would be better if it was some sort of enchanted item...

yes, this really put me off any replays of the kotn (i have only ever played through kotn once lol)

a lot of quests are just chores and could have been made a bit more interesting or given alternate ways to finishing them. The one with the rats for the fighters guild stands out, theyre a bit like brick walls for me

I son't mind the Pilgrimage, I feel it gives me som thinking time...

I also think the rewards for the KOTN are well worth to Pilgrimage.

That used to be the case for me too, till I created some custom Buff on Other spells to use on them. The one that seems to help is Regeneration (Heal 3 points for as many seconds as you can afford) as it tends to keep them alive.

I had to try it twice, but it wasn't a problem for me if I was a little bit careful about hacking the goblin masses FAST.

And... Nirnroot. Well, I did finish it today (yay), but it feels stupid and forced. Odds are I'll never drink that potion.
