This is a thread for those of you who would like to share pictures of your in game endeavors, whether it be glitches, personal accomplishments or just funny pictures, anything is welcome. I understand that this is difficult for some people (namely those not on the PC) so just use a digital camera. I can't add to this thread at the moment, but I'm sure that there are some people who can. Anyone is welcome to join in free of anything you may consider to be requirements.
Below is the guide on how to utilize the screen shot function for Oblivion on the PC.
Find your oblivion ini in documents/my games/oblivion, edit the value bAllowScreenshot to 1, and then press the print screen button (left of scroll lock, right of f12) while ingame. The screenshot files will wind up in your oblivion directory (usually program files/bethesda softworks/oblivion) as "Screenshot#". Because you cannot link to images from your own computer, you will also need to host your screenshots on an image hosting site like Photobucket, Imageshack, or Tinypic (all free).

Generally people post this in "Post Your Character". Or if you want to post a picture that is a glitch, or funny or anything else than use "list your funny, stupid, weird, glitchs, etc that happen to you"

Post Your Character: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5519
list your funny, stupid, weird, glitchs, etc that happen to you: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3018

There are lots of things to take pitctures of that aren't related to either your character or a glitch. So Reaper, please carry on.

Awesome, I'm hoping to start something that ends up being trendy! I've been looking at all the other posts, and I think this one fits in pretty well.

I'll post some screenshots later this day ;)

But you can also post screenshots here about mods you're using, nice spots (a waterfall, the view from Dive Rock) etc. :D

Wow, that's got to be a record. I've drawn three moderators to the thread within 24 hours.

Thanks for the first pics (in the near future) Josjie.

I, sadly, am unable to post pictures, as I have let my friend borrow my copy of Oblivion at the moment. Even if I had it at the moment, It would be harder for me to post pictures, because I play it on the 360.

Although I also have nothing to add, I also really like this idea. Maybe if this thread eventually gets going and all, there can be "picture of the month" competitions and things like that.

This is the only picture I have ever taken in Oblivion.

I was just walking around and noticed this beautiful baby. I don't even know where it is.

I just recently got Obllivion for the PC, and I don't know how to take a picture. Do I need to downlode anything?

@Josjie - I mistook the king for a moderator

@nyk - that is a great pic, I hope for more

@Chaos - I don't think you need to download anything, on most other PC games I've played just pressing the "Print Screen" key works just fine. It won't actually print the screen, it just sends the current image of the screen to the clipboard. From there you can paste it into any photo viewing/editing program, including Paint.

No downloads needed. Go to My Documents/My games/Oblivion, and open the oblivion.ini file in notepad. Then search for "bAllowScreenshots" and change the value from 0 to 1. Save and quit. You can now take screenshots in game with the "print screen" key. They will be saved in your Program files/Bethsoft/Oblivion folder.

Do you have a digital camera? Just remember to turn the flash off.

I took mine with my cell phone (PS3..), which has 2.0 Megapixels. It came out with lousy quality, but good enough to tell it was beautiful.

That looks like the area east of Skingrad, north of Priory of the Nine... I've played too much, haven't I?

Nonsense! There is no such thing as too much. There is only other activities that get in the way.

Shivering Sky 1 is awesome. Pond and Dementia Waterfall are also great.

I'll post some pics as soon as I start exploring around. This is a cool thread, there are a ton of cool things to see and show people throughout Oblivion.
I took this during the tutorial, thought it looked pretty cool.

That looks good Bode. Keep the good stuff coming. Bad stuff would work too, people just wouldn't respond the same.

Yeah, not much to work with in the tutorial. Got out and took this:
Sunset
Is there any way to get rid of the crosshair when I hit printscreen?

Very nice, good ol' sun set is always a good way to go. If you ever want to get some good shots within the tutorial sewers, you could always go back after getting the staff of worms and get the Emperor to attack Baurus. Take a picture and call it something like: "Learn to do your friggen job!" or something along those lines.
