My only 2 characters are Imperials. They tend to be warriors, i think, thats why i use them. I just can't seem to handle mages very well.

An Argonian Mage. Not a very good idea but i still like him.

My main is a wood elf (bosmer) assasin using poison apples as his main tool

My Main is a Lvl 20 Nord Custom Class Warrior.

Dark Elves are just awesome. Balanced, VERY resistant to fire, the most common magic in the game, and just LOOK so badass.

Plus they're almost always big jerks as NPC's, they're real fun to talk to!

Dunmer all the way! Probably 50% of all my characters are Dark Elves. I occasionally try to break away and play a different style of character, but I keep coming back for the great balance of blade, marksmanship, offensive magic, and stealth.

i really dont like dunmer. i used to be ONLY them, but i dont think blue skin goes well with any of the heavy armor

im now part way through making an orc allready madgod =) im realy keen on them they look cool when killing and with full dwarven and spellbreaker with rockshater

Bosmer Assassin class level 26 born under the Shadow. Heavily into archery.

First time through the game. Love it.

I have 5 characters but my main is a bosmer (it sucks-all they can do is shoot arrows and sneak). My favorite out of the five is my High Elf.

My main is a Breton, but I haven't played as him for months. My Dark Seducer character is quickly catching up.

Breton. Seems to go well with the type of classes I make.

Nord/Breton

The only char i have made is a dark elf, so obviously i say dark elf.

I almost always play male Dark Elves, just because they're very balanced and versatile. And sexy looking... My latest character, though, is Altmer, simply because it's the most practical choice for an all-magic character.

Nord for me... I live in Canada so obviously I naturally have frost resistance just like the nord (lolz). The nord was the first character I used when I first played oblivion and I liked they way they are sound and how good they are for being warriors. Im not much for magic in Oblivion myself but I Did make a mage and got it to level 32 before.. lol but right now my Nord Warrior is level 42 with 162 hours on the save.

Argonians for obvious reasons. Not having to worry about drowning (or equipping waterbreathing items) and having poison and disease resistances just makes them juggernauts.

Plus, they're freakin' lizards.

Rarely I found myself falling to a poison, are being infected with a debilitating disease. Races like Redguards carry more of a punch, and races like Nords are Powerhouses. Those meet the definition of juggernaut.

Yes, but usually, if you put them in water or hard to manage terrain, they're not as helpful as argonians.

On my level 42 Nord warrior I can stay underwater without using a potion for quite awhile.. besides im also a Master in Alteration so I can stay under as long as I Want And yeah poison's don't effect my Nord any unless it's like Damage speed etc. but I got shepards pie to fix those. lol

I started out with a Breton. I guess you could call that my main character since I have been playing him longer. I'm fairly new to the game so he was difficult to keep alive for me. I finally got the hang of it. I think part of the reason was his low endurance to start, though he was sign of the lady. Agility was also an issue. Just being able to sit there while magic is cast at you and take only minimal damage is a bonus. The character I'm currently running is a Khajitt. Any opinions on whether a Khajit or Argonian work best for speedier characters?

I played Bretons for a very long time, but now I'm back to Dunmer, which I originally preferred. I find them to be nicely balanced.
