Correct! :D If you talk to the mages at the Anvil Mage's Guild they'll tell you Hannibal Traven was the head of their Guild Hall before being promoted to Archmage.

Okay, I'm now going to do something unique.
Il'l post some sort of a riddle referring to several NPC's, you try to find out who they are, search the Wiki etc.

One bears the name of an old king of Israel,
with the empererors death his work was put to halt
his house is close to the temple.

Another one lives where the lands are golden,
his greatest working tool is his tounge
but has not yet been granted audience,
to the wife of the king of thieves.

This one has made a name for herself,
Well-known where the snow is thick.
Wife of a prospector, old-fashioned style,
her tales are known by the people of the Jeralls.

Thu Aug 09, 2007 11:04 am

And behnjymyn, your'e rigth about Salomon Geonette and Alga, but not about Corvus Umbranox.

Thu Aug 09, 2007 12:04 pm

I didn't think I had Corvus right, but I'm kind of stumped on that one.

His audience denied, he earns his pay at Wilburs Inn
His kinsman resides in City of Moons.

Thu Aug 09, 2007 3:42 pm

C'mon, Iv'e made it really easy now...

Finally, WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Il'l come up with some more later, if you liked it...

Thu Aug 09, 2007 8:30 pm

Ok, I have one: What two deities, joined by marriage, both have books named after them, and what are the books?

Thu Aug 09, 2007 9:42 pm

are we talking aedra or daedra or would that give it away?

Thu Aug 09, 2007 10:47 pm

I can tell you it's none of the Nine Divines, nor is it any of the Daedra. Though, one of the Daedra does have a link....

I will also say this: neither deity appears directly in Oblivion, but both books do.
