sup.. this is a thread to post all your SWEET custom enchantments, and what item you put it on

i never realised how powerful Cast When Used enchanting is until today.. i had a grand soul gem, a soul trap scroll, and captured the soul of one of those Dremora Lords from cursed ebony. then enchanted an exquisite ring with Restore Health 43 points when used, which meant that i could use it 20 times for the charge it had (200/10 = 20)
and all this on a level 7 non cheating Warrior character, not a mage

Funnily enough, I just had a similar revelation myself. Generally I'm a constant effect freak. I figured that was the only enchantment worth using. But then, my no-cheating level 68 Nord needed a health restorer in Solstheim, not being a magic-fellow. So I created an awesome ring with a 400 restore HP enchantment. It has--lemme think--I believe 25 uses.

An exquisite ring, with a Winged Twilight's soul I believe. It is very neat, and a LOT easier than trekking around with Restore Health potions.

I also have a Chameleon 80% on self for 30 second amulet. It has quite a few uses, and it's invaluable for missions where I want to avoid fighting.

I have never really bothered with enchanting stuff, it is easier to get a lot of it in game to a higher level, like the Amulet of Shadows that gives 60 seconds chameleon 80%.

Yeah, but my amulet had a LOT more uses. What I did was repeatedly cast it and Tah-Dah! Out without a scratch.

I have a few custom enchant rings.

A constant effect ring with livitation(sp?) 100pts.
A constant effect 100% shield ring.
A constant effect 70% light ring.
A constant effect walk on water ring.

And a few others that I can't remember right off hand.

I didn't know constant effect stuff was so handy till a couple days ago.
I made all those in the CS.

Wow, those all sound really neat.

I made a constant effect levitation--um, 10 points?--ring once. Very useful for going over pesky mountains.

That's one of the main reasons I made it. That and because I like walking on air. :P

Heh, me too. I was elated when I first found out about
Spoiler:
The console command TCL.
Until the novelty wore off.

Yes, cast-on-use effects can be just as nice as constant effect, but I have one pet peeve with them: Even if have lots of uses, they take FOREVER! to recharge. Quite the hassle to recharge with soul gems and sleeping for long periods. Especially Aryons dominator. :P

Was a long time ago I played a character with enchant though, and I dont think I've ever had one with a really high skill, (70+), so maybe they recharge faster alot faster at those levels. So slap me if i'm wrong.

its so damn helpful, being stranded in a daedric shrine with no restore health left - just use the ring!
im gonna make some for opening doors, flying, fortify strength, and possibly charm
