Camp Half Blood: Primordial Duet

The war between Gaia, her titan children, good and bad demigods as well as the Olympian pantheon is over, for now. Gaia has returned to her slumber while the Titans have been tamed, killed, or defeated to retreat. Life is slowly repairing itself in both the mortal and immortal planes. Though while monsters still exist to be fought in the world and quests remain to be completed, monsters no longer openly attack the camp though they still attack new Demigods during Awakening. Likewise Camp Jupiter, a camp that Camp Half Blood remains unware of and vise versa, is slowly repairing itself along with camp Half Blood. However the mist still separates the two, despite Percy being found in Camp Jupiter. Percy, his girlfriend Annabeth, and friends are currently still in Rome setting up diplomatic relations. However despite this new peace, there is still a disturbance about.

Elsewhere in the universe, some form of black hole began forming, meteors began emerging, it was as if this hole wasn’t a true black hole but something else, instead of sucking it was spitting out. It was far enough away from the Earth so neither scientist nor god could track it, at least just yet. However shards of this meteor storm have already begun traveling towards Earth. Smaller shards of the storm had already made it past mars, for the sensors of the scientists, causing a scramble within NASA and other’s like it around the globe. A meteor shower was coming, but neither God, Demigod, nor Mortal knew the extent just yet.

Back on Earth, Demigods new and seasoned have been summoned back to camp by a currently-banned-from-alcohol Dionysus, there is something odd about the meteors that the gods have sensed once they began to near Earth. A Meteor shower would be soon, and messanger Satyrs have already been ordered to lead new children here while the Year-Rounders are discouraged from leaving Camp Half Blood just yet. Likewise Camp Jupiter and their Praetor’s have begun ordering similar orders for their own demigods as well as their Legacy’s.

Percy and friends will meet up soon, for now though, a change is coming. But neither Mortal or god knows the extent. The Meteors however have strange readings. You will arrive to Long Island South, In New York, USA where Camp Half Blood is located. Likewise unknown to you, Camp Jupiter is located in Caldecott Tunnel San Francisco California. Magic your Satyr and new Demigod friends know about allow you to travel quickly and swiftly, much faster than by normal mortal means of transportation such as plane or taxi.

All campers are given a Map of Camp Half Blood whether or not they already have one or not. Because of the Gods Promise on the River Styx to Percy Jackson, new Cabins have been built, honoring even the minor gods as well as the major gods. Also, children of titans and giants that have coupled with humans are accepted in a sense, but most of the cabins including Gaia/Gaea’s cabin ((for Dendril)) are for the Greek Gods and Goddess in Camp half Blood.

Although Dionysus, known as Mr. D in the Camp, is the camp Director, the camp is mostly run by the centaur guardian Chiron. It is he who is known to usually give out the advice to individuals or a group. Camp is helped run by the various Captains or Counselors ((See Cabin Link for individuals)) as they are usually known as. Once a week, the captains do gather for captain meetings.

New Campers:

As you have learned, you are a demigod, a son or daughter of one of the great Olympian gods. You were told of a safe place for you, a place where you can socialize amongst others like you, and learn to control whatever strange powers you may have. The idea of being a demigod has enchanted you, and the things you learned that you can do in the camp have just added to the glamour. The ability to learn sword-fighting, strategizing, and other Greek like activities. As you trudge up the hill to the camp you see a large metal dragon sleeping beside a tree. But as you stared up at it originally, you were unsure of what it was truly. With other new, or returning students following along beside you, or already ahead of you talking, you don't really know what to expect from this camp.

To the lucky demigods born of the more known deities, this will also be your learning experience. You will come to know yourself and if you are lucky to have magic of your own, to learn that as well. But it does come at a price, it is a complicated thing to learn so martial training would need to be second to the train if not at all dropped. Also it may or may not require locking from a Deity, depending on demigod. Not every Demigod will have a magical power, likewise not every child of one demigod will have a power either. Some things are earned, others gained. You will learn this in time.

Returning Campers:

As you awake/make your way back up the hill to a camp you know and love, a smile crosses your face as you reunite with old friends. The fun of last year/this year comes to your mind and you can't wait to see what new people arrive or what new challenges this camp may face. Quests basically unheard of in the camp in the last few years have been happening more and more frequently, your excitement bubbles as you imagine yourself being able to go on your own quest.

Even with the buildings being repaired and things are returning back to normal from the war, there is a sense of happiness here, a temporary peace. One must cherish these few well-earned moments. For a few of you, you have been deemed by your actions as able to help the newer campers as well as an adventuring group of your own to include new campers in.

OoC Information:

Rules:
1. General roleplay rules such as no metagaming, powergaming, and god-modding.

2. No children of the big three unless you are a mod ((By Mod I mean RP Sub-DM/Mod like Justice Knight and Shadowkins)) or ask special permission. The Big Three are Zeus, Hades and Poseidon.

3. No Children of Persephone or Gaia allowed ((save for mine)). Likewise no Children of other Primordial Gods unless you have a really good Bio and I approve it. Likewise, There can be no children of Artemis or Hera, only hunters of Artemis since she’s a virgin goddess and Hera being the god of marriage doesn’t cheat on her spouse unlike the other gods and goddesses. Hunters of Artemis are all female and have sworn off boys. Athena’s children come from Athena merging her brain with her lovers. Also no children of Persephone, Hades and Demeter hog all of her time despite both of them having demigod extramarital children.

4. We are all starting at the same skill level, I don't care if you are a returning child.

5. Your weapon can't be like Backbiter so it can harm both mortals and monsters.

6. Please put 'Primordial' in the other section of the app so I know you read the rules.

7. No super Op characters, and no exceptions to rule No. 3

8. Keep Role Playing in Third Person, first person can be used for individual thoughts.

9. Though you can be claimed, it will be a small one. If you want a large claiming ceremony, that will be my job.

10. Keep OOC chat in either spoiler/hidden or very brief parenthesis.

11. All Campers will be Camp Half Blood at the start, I may allow Camp Jupiter later but I must learn about it more first.

12. Please click and read the blue links provided in this rp description to help you understand the world. I shall be adding my own fanon to for this.

13. Lastly Any Smuff/Cheese/Sex stuff can only be done by those characters of 16 years of age or older and must fade to black. Any younger and you are forbidden.

14. Keep ages between 13 ((which I consider way to young)) to 18 ((And you better have a very good reason why they survived to this age outside of Camp Half Blood.)) Be in mind that until you get to Camp Half blood, you won't have any magic, that will come with official big Claiming in the Camp.

Before I get too committed to creating a character as the child of a specific god. When you say 'great Olympian gods' do you mean any gods major or minor or do you want one of the major 12 minus the restrictions you mentioned. For reference, I was looking at the list of minor gods here.

Those are fine as long as they are alive during events of Camp half Blood.

Name: Liam O'Mally
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Personality: A little hotheaded but only when angry, other than that he maintains a level head- for a son of Ares. Ironically enough, he hates bullies. Also very brave, couragous even.
Appearance: Tall, well built and muscular- as befiting a son of Ares. Liam is often accused of wearing a t-shirt that is one size too small, this is not the case. Liam has brilliantly blue Irish eyes and a mess of scruffy black hair on his head extending into a light stubble.
Liam could be considered rugged, no where near as attractive as a child of Aphrodite, but not too bad for a son of Ares. More often than not, Liam has a plaster on his face or a bandage somewhere on his body.
Bio: (Optional) Liam was born and raised in Ireland until the ripe age of ten when he, his mother and his older sister(a mortal)-Lily. At the age of twleve he was claimed and only a week later his mother was killed by a monster and Lily was comatose from the attack.
Alone and afraid, Liam was found by a small group of Demigods and was brought to Camp Half-Blood where he has stayed for the last five years.
Liam talks to Lily when he can, but that happens very rarely.

I'm pretty sure Uno said no kids of the big three, so no Zeus, Hades or Poseidon.

Zeus wasn't mentioned. I thought that Persephone, Hades and Demeter were the big three? I'm going to wait to see what Uno says and will change it to another god if it's not accepted. Still intend on having the same powers that i've posted though although will scrap the lighting bolt to something that reflects the new god's power but on a small scale or not at all if the strength and healing has resulted in my character barely being within acceptable.

Far far too old in my opinion. The big three are Zeus, Posiden, and Hades. Plus demigods attract monsters to them so she living to that age without knowing is just plain impossible.

Who hasn't Zeus had sex with? I still don't know much about the setting but the idea of demigods is enough for me to want to join. I'll read up more on the setting before I post my sheet.

Is Eros allowed? Because I'm thinking of either Eros or Hermes at the moment for my character's dad. I was also thinking about Aphrodite but I don't want to have the same parent as another player.

Haha, I'm also barely familiar on the franchise that this is based on. But I do love the myth angle. Based on my previous questions I think Eros is fine but I suppose you can wait for Uno to confirm. Myself, I'm starting to lean towards being a child of Pan. Looking at the wiki he died during the course of the series so I don't know if that's okay as I'm not sure how much later these events are supposed to take place.

I will change the age to 25 or early 20s if it's too far fetched. She has spent most of her life either in prison or commiting crimes. In fact, i'm going to do that now to eliminate that.

EDIT:Changed it to 23. Going to wait for Uno before making any other changes to it.

is Hephaestus allowed? i always liked him, and i wanted to have a character who would have some kind of physical deformity due to his father. plus he is the god of some cool stuff, like Blacksmiths, Fire, and Volcanoes


i read the Percy Jackson books a while back .... they were ok, and i enjoyed them, but i barely remember what happened, to be honest. it's all mushed together for me. someone stole a lightning bolt, there a blonde guy, a little girl, some titans, and a pen.

1) No children of the big three unless I give permission, in which case those people will be mods or the children of the big three will be NPC's. I'm sorry Dov, but I can't allow you to be a child of Zeus, Poseidon or Hades.

2) Your character is way too old. Keep characters between ages 13 ((which I consider way too young and there is no way anything under 16 is going to be dating with sex or any sexual conduct.)) and 18. But do note the older your character is, you better have a dayum good reason why they survived so long after claiming/unclaiming outside of Camp Half Blood. Do note that until you get to Camp Half Blood, you will not have any control of the powers you may aquire and they will come in spurts, and until you are officialy claimed by a godly parent at camp by me, then you will have no control over these powers. Also having powers and weapons is too OP so all weapon training will come secondary to those who have powers.

3) Your character is way too OP, your best bet is to scrap it and start over.

4) By your app alone I can tell you havn't read my rules for this RP.

5) Because of your app I have had to edit the rules, to prevent another app like yours.

As with Justice I'm going to have you earn that Bronze weapon at camp, you will have to do a small fight for it alright. She has left it for you but you have to earn it. For now you have a longsword steel that has kept you alive outside of camp until you have come to camp, cool?
