I'm curious about what information is required to help whoever in charge to contact the ad network and let them know about scam ads.

The ad not only has a pop-up notifying me how big a winner I am, but it also hijacks me away from the wiki itself, straight into a Facebook-style portal that seems mighty phishy.

The existence of ads themselves are not ever a problem for me. Frankly, this wiki is one of the few whitelisted sites I have for my ad blockers.

The last time such a bad ad happened, I was able to capture this:



Lastly, this subforum seemed the most appropriate place to ask this. But I've been wrong on that kinda thing before, so please lemme know if that's the case.

Here's an additional link of the same, for what it's worth:

For anyone else who wants to capture these links, I turn off wifi when the pop-up box occurs. Then I close the pop-up, and then copy-paste the offending URL without worrying. I hit the back button, then turn wifi back on.

Just an update:

I noticed today I haven't encountered it for a while now. So just FYI.
