I couldn't be.
More.
Happy.

If you wouldn't mind, we're planning up a Winterhold Rebuilt mod, and we need voice overs for 1 or 2 NPCs.
Would you be in?

Awesome voice talent, by the way. Truly amazing.

We're also hoping for many projects to come in the future.

On the subject, I'm thinking possibly a Dunmer voice will be needed, either for the main character, or for a prominent member of the Dunmer settlers. How do you feel about doing a Dunmer voice?

Thank you for the kind words. They are appreciated.

Dunmer have a raspy, throaty kind of voice? If so it should be fine.

I'm willing to help in any way I can. Send me the text, race, and age group and I'll lay down some audio.

I could offer services in this area though, my recording equipment is less than professional. I'll record a demo when it's more convenient.

Slightly of the topic, but does anyone find it strange that a male Breton voice is American/Canadian & not British.

A lot of the voices aren't race specific. Nords, Khajiit and Argonians tend to be, but the other races are rather interchangeable. As for British sounding Bretons, I know Delvin Mallory (Thieves Guild) is done as a gruff cockney, but then again some male Dunmer have a similar voice.

Musicman, thanks!

As for the OT... I think it's like you would say that everyone with slanted eyes needs to have an asian accent or that every black man should speak with African one. Accents are created by the environement and so Khajitt living in a place where Bretons speak British would speak British as well with the husky voice, nu? :P

I'm confused as to how to make a demo reel, and what lines of dialogue would be a good example... I could just go with the start of Morrowind. "They have taken you away from the Imperial city..." type thing... I'll get around to it eventually.

I'd like to put myself up as available for Voice Acting, keeping in mind that my recording stuff is...not the greatest. I'll hopefully have some demo stuff up soon.

We should probably list what races/accents we can perform, as well as what gender we are so the modders can have a list of what's available.

I've updated the first post with the information I have now. Those of you who are listed, if you could either post or PM me your gender and what races you would be comfortable with, I'll add it.

Hmmm, female, and I can probably do the human races and the elven races, younger females. I'm pretty decent with accents, but I can't put the certain purring or growly qualities in my voice that would be required for the beast races. Can't do old lady voice either.

Obviously I'm new here but I'm certainly not new to the wiki or the Elder Scrolls games.

This is something I'd love to get involved in if you're still looking for people.

I'm male, and I could pretty much do any of the human and elven races.
I'll make a demo as soon as I can, but I've been sick lately and can't my throat isn't quite in shape.

Looking forward to voice acting requests now that the Creation Kit is out!

One thing I'd like to propose is a format for asking for voice acting. Something like this:
Spoiler:
This Is How I Think It Should Be Done, but you can do whatever wrote: Image

Name: Mr. Orcy McOrcington
Race: Orc
Gender: Male
Class: Mage :)
Age: 37
Sound: Low, Slow, He's been eating gravel for a month
Lines: "Hey there!" "What's all this about you eating a chicken?" "Rawr!" "Ug!" "Umph!" etc.
I would prefer getting requests by Private Message or by Email.

If this format does not work for you, or you think it's missing something, please chime in!

I think that format will be good enough...
I may add some things in depending on the situation, etc.

OK so I got the creation kit and have been playing around with it a bit, I'm pretty new to it still since i never really used the editor for Oblivion or Morrowind. I've made a new follower in the game that can be hired at the dragonbridge inn, and I wanted to make a custom voice for him. I am a qualified sound engineer so recording is not a problem but I was wondering if anyone knows how to add recorded voice samples to a character with the creation kit?

I need to know what format the samples need to be in for the game, and how to attach them to the character. If anyone one knows how to do this, or has a guide/knows where a guide is on how to add voice it would be most appreciated.
I'm on my way to Windhelm to join up with the Stormcloaks, Ulfric has the right of it!
