Who are you gonna side with on your first playthrough of the DLC? I'm not sure yet.

Well... both. My good character will go with Dawnguard, and my corrupt character will go with the Vampires.

Dawnguard , never really liked vampires. Although I hope a Mage can fit it among the Dawnguard ranks

I haven't decided yet, if the end-game of Dawnguard really does alter the landscape to allow vampires to be out at all hours of the day, then I will definitely be going Vampire since it will help with meh Illusion spells.

Hard to say without knowing more about dawnguard, but based on what I know now I'm thinking dawnguard.

Vampires for me, more likely.
But it depends on the character I start to play though on, if it was my bosmer or my Breton.. They would go to the blood drinking side,
My khajiit, Altmer, and others might go for dawnguard. But so might Celegu simply for the crossbow.

Dawnguard, as my hunter is a follower of Hircine and would never give up his Lycanthropsy especially now that a perk tree will give me an excuse to use it more often.

Is it conirmed whether or not the whole war or feud, is actually a Daedric Battle? You know the forces of Molag Bal (Vampires) versus Meridia (DawnGuard). If so I'd rather not join either and become a puppet to either prince, I wish a wild card option was viable.

My first playthrough will be on my main character, who is more or less good, so he will be siding with the Dawnguard. And plus, those vampires just look gross. I don't want my Chuck Norris look-a-like Bosmer turning into that.

For me, as a Lycan, probably Dawnguard. Unless they happen to take on that mantra of "All 'demons' must die!", then I'd probably have little choice but to go with the Vampires.

Honestly, the only bad taste I have over Vampires is the whole Twilight Saga. Bleh! But it seems like they might be giving Vampires in TES a nice shake with this DLC, and maybe make their powers more meaningful.

Well, if you like "imp suits" (a la, another thread), you'd probably go with the Vamps

I need to know the advantages of being with the Dawnguard first, if turning into a vampire changes my looks completely (even when not in vamp lord form) and if the ending blots out the sun: I don't want a totally dark Skyrim. I'll be doing both anyway, I just want to see which one will be for my main. But I guess "good" main goes with DG, the evil necromancer goes with the vamps.

made a sweet dark elf vampire, have not played in a while. level 30+, 100 conjuration(necro), illusion, enchanting, high destruction, sneak, good alteration and restoration levels. He looks like Kain from Blood omen. Will likely revive this character for the new content. Have a variety of other characters to play the good guys, but I'm most interested in this badboy, and going the vampire lord rout

First,Vampires because I share the same birthplace as Vlad Tepes,then I'd go with the Dawnguard because I share the same birthplace as Vlad Tepes and for that reason I hate Twilight.

Am I the only one thinking that the Vampire Lords look like Marcus from Underworld?

Nope. There is a strong resemblance for both Lycans and Vampires in Skyrim to those of Underworld.

Except Skyrim wolves don't look so fake xD.
Underworld's Lycans always bothered me, their movements were so.....robotic.

There seems to be more advantages in going with the vampires, plus my assassin character is evil and my high elf may not be able to resist the urge of getting even more power...

Definitely vampires. If I have a choice, I usually tend to side with the bad guys in games. I've always found the dark side to be more interesting.
