By easy to implement, I don't mean things like an entire physics engine or access to a whole new part of Tamriel. Something relatively simple.

I have thousands of these but I'll start with two of them:

The ability to view your character while equipping items (feature which was present in Oblivion). What I've noticed is that the player model DOES update while you change your apparel, so its only a matter of moving the camera to the player when you begin equipping items. Why waste such a feature when the player models DO update on their own?

Headshots, with bows. Seriously, it just kills immersion and I bet it would add another dimension to assassin-like characters since right now it's extremely easy to just hit the body - and anywhere on the body counts as the same, sound, hit. I'm pretty sure I'll have trouble getting headshots at long range (mainly due to the fact that arrows don't travel straight) but I have nearly no trouble hitting an enemy from almost any range.

Who knows? Perhaps somebody with the necessary modding skills will be inspired by your idea and make your wish come true :)

Edit: I've seen a lot of good suggestions that a lot of people probably won't see since most people don't read past page 3 before making a post, so I've decided to compile a list (on this post) of what people have said.

    Code:

I'll make the list more readable sometime soon. Possibly remove asterisks for mod-fixable and colour code them instead. Add spacing between suggestions to increase readability, perhaps? Suggestions are welcome!

How about:
Silver ingots can be used to improve silver swords. I loved my silver sword but I had to leave it behind once I got a decent smithing skill and I improved other stuff. I'm sure that being able to improve it to 'Master/Legendary' would make me dust my old sword off.

Just the kind of thing I'm looking for. I tried this out on my system though and found it to be possible. I do have 250+ mods, however. If you wish I can dig through them and find the one that allows silver smithing. Assuming you still play on PC, of course.

Yeah I play both so the mod would be much appreciated. I can finally go back to being a Paladin with weapons that are effective against the un-dead.

Menu options to turn off kill cams and fast travel.

The ability to use my excess gold to bling out my equipment, cosmetic effects like sapphire encrusted armor.

UnenchAnted versions of all the specialty armies (nightingale, etc.)

The ability to use foreign language voices on the PS3 version.

The ability for RP actions with misc items: let me play the lute or sweep the floor if I want to!

This isn't actually the mod I use since the silver smithing/improving is included as a part of a larger mod I have, but I wasn't sure if you wanted that so here's one that specifically handles the silver weapons.

More than anything, Skyrim needs to sort out its wonky Container Inventory system.

The reason why I love skyUI :)

I wish they added the ability to make arrows in vanilla skyrim. It was one of the first mods to come out so it wasnt that hard.

I think Skyrim needs to implement some changes to already existing things such as

1. potions that heal over time
2. They need to rework the armor equation so the maximum amount of damage negated by armor is 50%, and blocking adds, at most, another +30%. That way melee fighting is more then just "run up and spam attacks", one would actually have to block in a fight.
3. Destruction magic needs to scale

As for new things
-more spells
-craftable arrows
-better UI

A stronger stealth system. I know they improved it plenty from Oblvion but I just can't get enough >_< This would include more escape routes and certain places that are difficult to rob. Also stealth-oriented arrows would be cool.

Being able to catch fish with a fishing rod or catch crabs with a net.(Doesn't really matter because there is a mod for this now though.)

You could catch fish with a fishing rod in Zelda back in '98, on the N64. Apparently, the Dragonborn prefers hillbilly hand fishin'. However, I've never fished in 3rd person. Perhaps he catches them in his teeth.

I wish I could do that with dragonflies. It's easier to catch the clap in a convent.

I'd like to see more sets of armor like chainmail, Mithril, and the Imperial Guard armor. Maybe bring some old sets back from Oblivion and Morrowind.

OMG 1998 Zelda was so great! Ah I loved that game so much.

I think you should be able to hear Dohvakiin's voice. I have a mod that allows some talking but when in storylines and given the option to select what you're going to say I would like my gals to speak.

I also think we should be able to see simple things like pc eating meals, sleeping on the bed, etc.

better dragons, it's hard for stealth characters, and they make no sense that they fly everywhere, they have to have a place to stay...

Craftable arrows, and a better smithing system, as in, no ores, you have to smelt the item to get the material

Oh and better organized inventory, the favorites is the only thing thats alphabetized.

Area shot recognition, adds another level to marksmanship

An arena... really? Why wasnt it already included?
A realistic mode where you needed to sleep and eat likebin new vegas, one thing they could do is make every time you smith something or cook time passes equal to what you made so you have to keep track of your meters

I would enjoy craftable arrows, just makes sense because it is hard to just buy all the arrows if you use archery as your main form of damage.
A continuation of the summon familar spell, where are the spectral bears, saber cats and trolls. Would make it pretty to roleplay as an Orc shaman.

I wonder how hard it would've been to make it so you're second weapon when dual wielding doesn't just disappear when you sheath it?
