I know, right?

Shadowmere's still cooler.

The only crossbows seen in that video seem to be steel, which is interesting, but I suspect (and hope) we'll get the full range, from iron to Daedric.

Also, you can see from 0:58 to about 1:01 are a bow, an axe, and some sort of quilted red armor that seem to be new.

Files in the patches show there are Dwemer crossbows also.

Morrowind only had Dwemer and Steel, but I want me a Daedric crossbow.

Mechanics and pure evil...all in one nice package.

Are the elder scrolls now equipeable? Maybe a new weapon style-> Scrolls!

Maybe I am a bit a basher but this addon doesn't seem to have any "good" lore backround?
Since when can vampires fly/glide in the air, have wings and summons bats/vanish in bats?
Sry to say that but seems abit to mainstream vampire^^, why can't we get the real skyrim vampires that can move through ice.

Since we may be able to become a Vampire Lord in Dawnguard, i'm assuming we may also have Vampire imp minions as seen in the Skyrim Jam video.

They may be a new form, and you see in the DLC how they came to be?

The problem with that sort of reasoning is that Bethie can always invent lore to back up whatever cool gameplay idea they have.

A few ideas come to mind:
1. The vampires are gifted special powers by Molag Bal to take over Skyrim.
2. The vampires learn how to harness their true inner potential.
3. The vampires are using the Elder Scrolls to somehow do something that causes them to become flying vampire lords.

I am sure you all know that already, but there should be an E3 exhibition in Los Angeles starting on June 5, where the info about Dawnguard, TES Online, and possibly that Hearthfire thing will be revealed.
Regarding the PC and PS3 worries, the article I read on an official Russian resource mentioned the game being temporarily exclusive for the XBox. We can wait a while, now can't we?
Plus, they seem to have discovered some Dawnguard-related animation files in the newest 1.6 patch for the PC. 8)

The third has good potential, if they "write" additional lines to the scrolls this could have tremenderous effects on everything and be the source of those changes.

Edit:
With the help of a prince they maybe are able to "adjust" the foretelling of the scrolls, would add a nice flavor.

God. Dang. It! Anticipating this like hell, I have hopes that it'll be on disk.

Also, same anticipation for 1.6 without the disk bit.

On the subject of discy-ness, at the end of the trailer, it says 'game ADD-ON', add ons are generally disc-bound content. Possibly the file size was deemed too big for download.

More or less yes, also beth would be stupid to make a content only for one portion of their players.

Heh, say that to Gideon, not me  I was trying to comfort him since he does not seem to believe it.

Sometimes it happens, but not in this case (to the PC gamers' utmost joy). :P

Yeah it sometimes happens but Beth knows that they have a huge community due to modding, and PC gamers (aka mod users and creators) would be [&@%!] if the loose their chance to get new material.

It looks like there's a new armour type to be had, see 00:17. That armour looks cool.

We have known that xbox would get the first two expansions a month early for over a year and a half now.

This is interesting...Apparently, files found in 1.6 indicate animations for crying children, pouring and taking water from wayshrines, DIALOGUE GESTURES(!), and reading the Elder Scrolls.

Also, it says in the video that it's gonna cost 1600 microsoft points. I'm expecting this to be PRETTY big.

Thing I'm confused about is where these new castles and fortresses will be.

I think there was some sort of portal in the video? Or maybe they're in Morrowind...

I think the vamps' base is in the sea of ghosts north of winter hold, in the icy floes.

I think the portal is possibly to an underworld kind of place, judging by all the ghosts, and graves etc. in the video

Yeah, I'm thinking/hoping it'll be in Morrowind too. A small part of it would be fine, to pave the way for future DLC's

Although there could be a portal.
