I am creating this wondering what everyone thinks the worst quest in Skyrim is. Post your thoughts here. What the quest is and why you hate it.

Chop Wood.

I spend time chopping wood, and then can't find anyone to buy it.

Glory of the Dead. It's a major PITA just to get the Tomb.

You can't follow the Circle to get there, because the AI Pathing really... stinks. The first time I did that quest, I shuttled between two points for 15 minutes following the group before deciding to blow them off and strike out on my own. To my surprise, they showed up AFTER I reached the tomb. Where the heck were they when I needed them against the horkers and bears?

Not to mention, all of them but one wound up being scaredy-cats and the remaining one wasn't much help in the fights, and the reward is... disappointing at best. To heck with the Companions. I've seen braver Mages.

A very close second is Bound Until Death.

Why can't we have a "Best Quest in Skyrim"? ;)

Because not everything is good, and not talking about the bad things doesn't make them go away.

Didn't say everything is good, just seems like there are too many "What do you hate about blank?". Skyrim has it's flaws, no doubt.

And that's why we talk about them. Your effort to reduce negativity is commendable, but it's out of place.

Anyways, back on topic. Sheogorath's quest was a little less than fulfilling.

Shut. Up. Everything associated with Sheogorath is good.

In all honesty, the quest itself wasn't that great, but I was too busy laughing every other sentence to care.

The best part of Sheo's quest in my opinion was:

I hated Sheogorath's quest. . . and I personally hate him too.

I really dislike No Stone Unturned. I will never pick up another Stone of Barenziah.

Waking Nightmare. Because that liar Erandur is so painfully slow.
No Stone Unturned is a close second, though.

"The Book of Love". The last part, at least. Here we have a quest that actually requires you to switch on the omniscient Idiot Arrow of the HUD. All because the quest's writers were too stupid lazy to flesh out the quest any further.

Would the huge number of radiant quests you're forced to do to accomplish becoming thieves guild master count? I'm counting it.

That quest kind of just starts when you finish the quest, as
Spoiler:
you need to start to strengthen the sword you got by turning your back to your friends.

Ontopic: No Stone Unturned. Definitely. Curiosity kills the cat, so never take any "Unusal gems" to your hands, and if you accidentally happen to pick one, never go find out what they are. You are going to curse the day you did that.

You talk about Mephala? Namira's quest was worse.

I liked Namira's quest. But Waking Nightmare, as I read somewhere, "Waking Nightmare is a Waking Nightmare for me" somes up my feeling perfectly. Erandur is slow, he can gltich and end up not unlocking the barrier, if you pick up the book to early he wont take it. The only reason I do it is to stop everyone in Dawnstar talking about nightmares.

I thought Namiras was far worse than Mephalas. Namiras was really boring. Mephalas was pretty cool IMO
