That would be pretty cool. I bet it's a relatively easy mod, too.

I am always an ebony armor fan. It looks sleek, it's nice, and it sure does make you look heroic! Daedric is impractical, I think; much too heavy and it looks ridiculous. Don't bother me with that dragonbone nonsense, because that's silly as well. I can't imagine glass armor being very comfortable or stylish, and elven armor, while very well done in Skyrim, just isn't my sort...although it is rather lovely looking.

I agree Avron. Somehow open-face helms seem to always get an absurd armor rating in mods  . I love Ebony also. Besides that, I actually like Daedric and Elven, and also Dwarven. Dragonbone is meh, but it's not terrible, and works for a warrior character.

I agree with one of the other posters -Daedric looks cool but the asymmetry bothers me, I just can't stand the helmet or shield. I love the Ebony armor and Nightingale armor, havent done elven or glass but it looks like the look better than in oblivion, the other armor I like the most is Steel Plate armor

Ok, I got my hands on my first set of Dragon stuff. The Dragonscale armor beats anything... it's so... pretty, very much overpowered, but it actually looks like a light armor, even more light than the leather ones. It scales down to or just fits perfectly on my "little elf" Bosmer, like nothing but the Nightingale set. I'll keep it. For some reason it gives off a barbarian warlord feeling... I might just give one to all my followers too, lol. I have one problem with it though, the helm... it's somewhat strange, I think it should curve closer to the face on the front or something, it looks like it's not put on right.

I'd like the Dragonbone too, but that one has a problem with the cuirass part, the shoulder thingies are way up, looking as if the person wearing them were shrugging constantly.

Daedric is too devilish (and too Power Rangers) but since it's the best armour... Though I still prefer Dragonbone.

Bah, I think I'll wear things based on aesthetics and not on armor rating...

I noticed something on the loading screens. Now that I have Dragonbone/scale, the screens keep showing them, but the HELM, the dragonscale helm, it's closed. Not the one we get, but almost fully closed. Anyone else noticed this? Couldn't get a good look at it though (neither a screenshot), my loads only last some seconds. I'd kind of like that closed version more...

I like the looks of glass armor with one of the dragon priest mask......... It's perfect for my assassin. He's all mysterious and what not with his face covered.

I like Daedric because I fancy the idea of walking around like that in a middle of a village market. Elven armour makes my character look fat.

Glass is cool if not a little showy.

I really like the look of glass but when you put it on you look like an astronaut wearing a space suit. Ebony looks awesome but I use light armor. Daedric looks great in Skyrim, much better than in Oblivion. I also like the Elven light armor. My aesthetic preference is to mix and match fur, leather and dragon scale. Though I find it necessary to invest perks in light armor protection to make the fur armor work.

Ebony for me. I have never liked the look or the weight of Daedric armor. I had a scout in Oblivion that wore glass and other than looking like I had been dipped in mint ice cream it was fine. I don't have any experience with any of the light armor in Skyrim other than the stuff you get in the thieves guild.

Honestly I love Dragonplate the difference between it and daedric is easily dismissed plus its nice to have alternatives to the strict armor system introduced since every game. One complaint I have is the weakness of ancient Nord armor, if it was up to me it would be the armor I would wear until I got dragonplate, it fits the best with the beast races.

This is the reason I use highly fortified smithing - with it, it is possible to make armors suiting to your character good enough for regular use at high levels.

I liked the looks of Scale Armor on my Nord rogue/barbarian best of all actually, although he wears Dragonscale for practicality now.

Ebony has always looked really fancy/elegant in tes. In Morrowind it was gold and brown and then in Oblivion it was black and gold (Both very sexy in in my opinion). In Skyrim I think ebony armor definitely retains it's fanciness while looking the more like real armor than any of the other armors like Daedric etc.

So ebony, EBONY MAIL WHOO!

yeah I think it is a more of a "Black Knight" look in Skyrim.... kinda contrasting the Paladin look of the Steel Plate armor

i think Dwarven looks the best for aesthetic tastes. The way it gleams in the hall of Jorvaskrr! Personally I think Elven is the best light armor, it is so much more flowing compared to the crap Oblivion's Elven helmet was.

on a different note, Daedric is just simply awesome, as usual. 8)

Glass: Looks great
Daedric: Looks great, but I feel they went a little overboard with the spikes.
Dragonbone: Looks dull. Don't know why it just does to me.
Dragonscale:Looks great, and badass except for the helm. Not a fan of the open helms.
Ebony: Elegent while retaining the armor aspect of it. Easily the fav out of the options
Elven: Only looks good on a female altmer imo.

Blades armor + steel plate helm= amazing

Yeah I say ebony, but without the helmet. Daedric looks too over the top, Dragonplate looks too fancy, glass weapons look awesome, but the armor looks ridiculous. And Elven armor just makes your character look like a Thalmor. And for some reason I also think elven armor makes you look really fat....

My character wears a combo of light and heavy:
Daedric Helm and Chest
Dragonscale boots and gloves

It looks pretty sweet.

I have collected or smithed a suit of every armor and tried it on. I mix and match for fashion.

Also, wearing Daedric armor, gloves and boots, with the Dragon Priest Nahkriin's Mask is SWEET looking

Daedric has always looked a bit over the top. Did in Oblivion as well.
