how the hell did mix those two up. I mean it's pretty easy to recognize Sylmirie from her sickly greenish/yellow skin tone..

That's a great picture of Durnehviir! He never comes when my characters shout out for him though. :( Just once I would like to see him come kick some booty for my gals.

Well folks, I've gone a bit crazy with the Skyrim camera. I just need to remind myself that I don't have to post every single snapshot I get. Sigh. Anyway, a bit more of my closeups for everyone to enjoy:

Eh, he's not that great, IMO. It's much faster for me to kill things myself.

Today's shots
Another dragon fight, yawn
Ancestor Glade (possible spoiler)
Anika
Darkfall Passage (possible spoiler)

I took these shots yesterday, but by the time I finished fighting with Lost to the Ages, I was too tired to post them.
So here they are.

The Arrow and the Moth
Dragon's Maw
Another End
Vokun
Anska ran out of magicka so she decided to charge Vokun with her firsts. She's lucky I was there to take him down.
The Happy Dungeon Crawler
Verina and the Dog
Meeko
War Hound
The Execution
The Observers
Blocking the Blaze
Total Chaos
Fiery End
Skeletal Throne

Spoilers for Lost to the Ages:

I'm really starting to hate imgur and that "That's a lot of images! Are you sure you're human?" thing.
Really starting to hate it. Gee, imgur! I'm pretty sure I'm still human. Nothing is going to change that you know!

Great shots everybody! Perylous, you've definitely got the hang of this. Avron too - you've got an eye for composition, atmosphere, significant details, that's the most important stuff; tricks are secondary.

My latest shots - the first two are from before the savegame corruption incident, the rest from yesterday and today.

Romance begins: Sylvaine and Cosnach
Discussing poison recipes with Auntie Bothela

Sylvaine versus Borkul the Beast (and boy did she wipe the floor with him! Brawling with Cosnach was tough, they whittled each other down to a meagre sliver of life and Cosnach just happened to have one or two health points less left; Borkul, for all his mass, never came close - too heavy, too slow.)
Forsworn Again
This is our country! Beware the Forsworn!
The Matriarch's Gift (Eye of Melka)

I think the outfit she wears on the last two (black mage robes + Forsworn headdress + cloak) is going to be Sylvaine's definitive look for the forseeable future; now all she needs is a good mean-looking dagger, preferably Ebony or Daedric, or maybe something modded, we'll see. (Btw Witchery, I must admit I actually like the female version of the Forsworn headdress a lot. You know what would be cool though? A bare deer skull helmet, without any fur or additional tusks (but big antlers of course)! Unfortunately, I haven't found any on the Nexus so far :(; although this, which one of my other characters wears, is not too bad as a surrogate.)

You can never go wrong with black mage robes for a witch. Also: Before I got the PC, my witch was married to Cosnach. Happy coincidence yours' likes him too! Even though he's a stumbling drunk, he grew on me. And a Spriggan mask? That is beyond cool. I might have to look into that. xD I've never been much one for headgear on my witch, but that deer skull helmet idea is quite cool. Like the male Forsworn headdress, but without the fur? Also: The Eye of Melka is the best staff ever. That and Hag's Wrath are my favorite for a Forsworn/witch.

I've got a couple nice shots which I'll have to post sometime, but I had to share this hilarious one of Meeko in my house that I took today. I walked inside to discover that he'd found a new way to warm his paws:

Spoiler:
Image

Occasionally the NPCs at my house will spawn in strange spots - Lucia in the fireplace, Farkas standing on top of the logpile, Oriella standing on a chair, the cow stuck in the fence - but this one takes the cake.

That's okay. I got home and couldn't find Farkas anywhere, so I used the "moveto" command and found him stuck in a boulder in Helgen. I had to disable the thing to get him out because I had Serana following me and couldn't dismiss her since I was on the last part of the Dawnguard questline. Weird thing is that he was acting like he was at home. :|

Anyway, just two puny shots for me today.

Extra crispy, om nom nom

Vilanthe reborn (Her hair looks funky in that shot. I'll post an actual portrait.)

EDIT: As promised: My friends call me Vil

Finn, I never thought I would say this about a Breton but...your character is beautiful. She definitely takes the witch part, she looks awesome and I'm glad you're posting her pics here. :)

Alarra, that Meeko picture is absolutely hilarious!

Dovahkiin - thanks galore! *blush* I'm quite enamoured with her myself the more I play her. Glad you like her!

Today was a rather unadventurous day, so I'll just treat you to a little scenery [&@%!]:
A fair morning in Dushnik Yal (Reachwind Eyrie in the distance, Sundered Towers in the far distance)
Looking down on the Reach from Dead Crone Rock

EDIT: And since I mentioned ebony daggers in my last post, guess what I found in a chest in Hag Rock Redoubt today? It had Sylvaine's name written all over it.

So these are all I've got:

I really like that first sunset shot, Scorpion! Do you have a water mod running? Your water looks so much nicer than mine ever does.

WATER for the water, and the great lighting comes from Climates of Tamriel. Good lighting really makes all the difference. I'm only running Skyrim on about High graphics.

I'm honestly not too thrilled with CoT. It doesn't seem to get truly dark until like ten at night, which is starting to irritate me. And I can see fine in most dungeons without a torch or my night eye spell (which, incidentally, doesn't seem to play nice with CoT outdoors). I may switch back to RCRN. I did download WATER, however, and I'm enjoying that, save for the fact that it's turned Riverwood into a lag fest for me. :|

Really? Because I'm using CoT with the brightest night setting and it gets pitch black. I have problems seeing even with my Torchbug Lantern set to the highest brightness and radius. Hazardous dungeons is the same.
And my Nighteye bugs out indoors and out. It's really annoying (it's impossible to see when you've got either a blank white screen or a blank black screen), so most of the time I use a modded Candlelight.

I'll get some shots later. All I've done in Skyrim so far is power-leveling.

I use the Dwemer Goggles and Scouter mod. The goggles have a nighteye effect, and it works just fine.

An ancient relic. Notice his lantern as well. It helps in dungeons that are decently lit, but have some dark spots, as well as maintaining the feel of the lighting, without brightening everything up like nighteye does. I do wish the radius of it wasn't as pathetic as it is though.

I guess my mods just hate me, then. Deadly Dragons also doesn't seem to be working properly. I'm using BOSS, so if there were conflicts, it would let me know (I think?). I've had three "assaults" where no dragon has spawned, but I get the effects of a Shout raining down on my head. I'm going to try to reinstall it and see what happens...

Don't worry, perylous...I have been annoyed at the fact that neither of my characters can summon Durhneviir. W. T. F. I point them to the ground to the air it doesn't matter he still doesn't come. He was a waste of space anyway.

Speaking of space...I have a few snapshots of my new character. Leith, a Bosmer Thief that just joined the Companions and is getting her ass handed to her at Dustman's Cairn currently. This is my first time doing Companions and I hear it doesn't turn out so well. I'm planning on having her cured after all is said and done. After all, she's only joining to show them what a better hunter than all of them she is:

Oh that is sooo familiar! My first ever character (Rennath Mauso, I've posted a few pics of him on this thread) originally started out as a stealthy archer with destruction as a hobby and fared well enough until the Silver Hand totally wiped the floor with him. After dying repeatedly, I had to back out and leave Farkas waiting for me at the entrance for a few levels while I improved my One-Handed and Light Armour skills sufficiently to survive this quest. No doubt you'll be doing better, being way more familiar with the game mechanics than I was back then.

Anyway, cool Bosmer, and I wouldn't be in a hurry to cure her if it was me; but as you see fit. :)

Leith looks great. And I also can't summon Durnehviir...

Picked up Erandur recently and went to goof off at the College and in Blackreach.
Waking Nightmare quest reward: Erandur's butt sparkles.

Did you know that the College of Winterhold is not just for magic, but is also a College...of Dance?
Erandur does the worm.
Mirabelle shows off her footwork.
Is pushactoraway my favorite console command? Yes.
"Enthir, you're trashed again!"

"I've seen my share of black magic, but that's all in the past now," he said! "The thought of the dead rising... makes me sick to my stomach," he said! And yet...
Keep on Truckin'!
I like the soothing teal background down there.
Destination: Oz.
