Starting a new character always makes me take more screenshots than usual.

I've never leveled up Block and Heavy Armor before, I'll see how it goes.

Thank you!
That Werewolf eye took me around 30 minutes or so yesterday, and all afternoon today. I kinda regret putting so much time into it today because my restless legs are starting to act up. But at least it looks good. Well, reasonably good anyway. I'm still not quite happy with it.

As for the pictures. I'll attribute some of it to practice, and some to the lovely guides that were posted here.
Gotta use the console when taking good shots. tfc 1, tai, fov, tm, setscale... Pretty much any one of them.
And we can't forget an eye for detail. I grab shots of what I think looks good. Some of them are set up (those take more time, sometimes several minutes each), and others are entirely spontaneous.
Of course, with that factor of spontaneity, we can't forget about luck. Luck helps us all.

:D

It isn't scaled at all, actually. Different fov's and camera angles can make things look larger than they actually are.

Thanks, guys!

CreeperX, I love that third shot - great composition, cool looking character. And "It's maaagic," the guy really looks like he's applauding the magic sparkles, haha.

Frost Mage - Sexy? Thank you.
ConsoleWedding - I bet he's reminiscing about the time when he dumped Ancano in that magic "pot" (or whatever it is) and stole his clothes XD. So yeah, probably applauding indeed.
Black_Dog - Thanks. And go ahead. Here's a bigger version if that one's too small: http://i.imgur.com/jPVH2.jpg

Today's shots (first two contain Main Quest spoilers):

Gift of Knowledge
Honing the Thu'um
"Hm, this blade could use some sharpening. Fortunately there is a blacksmith nearby."
"Now... What was I going to do next? Oh, yes.... Or... No, that's not it. Blasts."
"Do you have any Mead, miss?"
"Believe me, when you're wearing this little armor, staying warm is a challenge. That's why I take every opportunity I can to sit back, and chug some Mead like a true Nord.
"Hmph. This Bard needs to get some talent."

Thank you very much.
The smaller one is perfect, it leaves a black stripe on the top and bottom of my screen, just like an old movie !
The way he draws his sword while looking at some imaginary opponent makes a strong impression, his posture screams "danger". And his armor...

Mod-Loving Wood Elf - For some reason I laughed. It's a great pic, I just wasn't expecting a creature like that :D
Mauin - I like the last one. The College really is one of their favorite places to spawn. I have lost count how many Dragons Yakov has killed in there =P.

Dearest mother, on my journeys I have ran across the strangest creatures. Like the half-man, half-log creature in Windhelm.

"Questions? Yeah. What the heck are you doing in my game?"
The result of me playing around with the Creation Kit.

He kicked my sorry ass XD

Thanks.
In all my... Gosh, how many characters have I had? Maybe 20 who have done the College of Winterhold now...
Anyway, in all my characters, I'd hate to know how many Dragons have attacked at the College.
Or in Winterhold in general. I was walking from Winterhold to Fort Kastav earlier and I got five different Dragon attacks between the two locations. Wouldn't have been too much of a problem if it weren't for the fact that Climates of Tamriel decided there should be a blizzard and I could not see anything at least 10 feet in front of my character.

And you, my friend, have inspired me...
To do something rather dangerous and make an NPC version of Vulom Staadnau.
I gave her custom enchanted armor that gives her the same stats as my overpowered character and, by the Eight, that was the hardest fight I've ever been in. Hunts-With-Fury is equally overpowered and she got killed. NPC Vulom Staadnau is more powerful than a Legendary Dragon, and can use the same Shouts as the player can...

Maybe that was a bad idea.
Hm. But perhaps I should create NPC versions of all my strongest characters and pit them in gladiator style matches to see who is truly the strongest.
That's my project for tomorrow.

Among other things.

Late night posting = Mauin ranting.
