My, my, don’t you look fabulous in that outfit!

This thread is for any discussion about Skyrim that doesn't quite fit in anywhere else. Here you can go offtopic as long as it still relates to Skyrim.

And it's open! Post spoiler tabs when necessary! Same rules in the Skyrim forum apply here.

Can someone post a few screenshots of the PC version seeing as all I've seen so far is Xbox footage?

HAHAHAHA!!! The tavern in Riften is called The Bee and the Barb. The Real Barenziah reference, oh dear. I laughed so much at that.

Is it just me, or is it really, really too easy to level up? :|

Each level is half an Oblivion level, EG level 50 is level 25 in Oblivion or Morrowind.

On your way to kill your first dragon, you will meet a guy named Avren the Swift. I sent this to Avron! By the way, I yelled "S'wit" and "N'Wah' today in Morrowind :D .

I feel that most fights are more epic now, and just tend to be on a larger scale. I think its because the world seems so much more alive. You can come across a pack of wolves chasing down a deer, with a hunter hot on their tails, and you can join the fray. Or member some Vigilants of Stendarr taking names on a troop of skeletons. Because this can happen anywhere, you have more than just a single bandit attack battle. And because you have the ever present threat of dragons, [&@%!] can get real at anytime.

Whiterun Guard: Psst. I know who you are. Hail Sithis.
Me: NOT HERE YOU BUFFOON!
Whiterun Guard 2: *gives me and Whiterun Guard angry eye*

EDIT: Nice! A guard just said to me:
"Hail, Summoner. Conjure me up a warm bed, would you?"

That means that people say things nice when you're good at a skill!

AT least he didn't say "You smell of death. Been conjuring up dead things?"

I agree 100% about the fights, they feel more alive than they did in Oblivion. In Oblivion, in the Battle of Bruma it didnt quite feel epic even though it was a major point in the Crisis. Just imagine what the Battle of Bruma would be like if it was on the Skyrim engine. It'd be pretty epic

Just wondering if I have a comrade for the fight against PC ES (and Spiney) . It also seems like console players tend to not have played Morrowind, and thus are less experienced. Except for us :D .

It's a joke. Christwire is a satirical website, aimed at poking fun at far-right Christian fundamentalists who believe stuff like Harry Potter and D&D is somehow connected to Satanism and what not.

It's what the author of that article does while he's feeling an unreasonable behaviour coming on. And when he feels gay.

I haven't married yet (- Or posted in this thread...at all. I am always late to the party.), but I can imagine it's fun. Or enjoyable. Or something. I might be a bachelor forever, though. Who the heck would want to marry me? I crawl through dungeons and get bloody and stink all day. Goodness gracious.

However, after not being able to play I finally squeezed some hours in and plan to do so over the weekend. I'm a modest level 12 but I just brought Lydia along for the ride to the Eldergleam Sanctuary. She's been sitting in Dragonreach and looking bored, so I decided, what the hey, let's get her some fresh air. Since I don't fast travel, we get to bond a lot, and I get to hear all the interesting things she has to say about the world. She's kind of growing on me.
