RIP Thalmor patrol:
Vulom killed all of you, even the prisoner. She required Altmer blood for stuff. One of you would have been sufficient, but Vulom was not about to let you get away from her.

RIP Vigilants of Stendarr (and that one Vigilant Vampire Hunter):
Daedra worshiper here. Kiss my ass.

RIP Faendal:
Sacrificed to Boethiah.

RIP Sven:
Killed because you're annoying.

RIP Hilde:
Had to complete the bunch. Just to make Riverwood half empty.

RIP Alvor and Sigrid The most Death prone couple in skyrim
What happened it pretty hard to explain
I fast travelled to riverwood and was attack by a volikhar vampire and a regular vampire and anska was also there because everytime I fast travel shes there for some reason I have serana and bran the dog as followers
so anska and serana used explosive magic which hit the vampires and the villagers it was a mess of explosions But I saw Sigrid attacking bran and serana killed alvor and anska killed two whiterun guards
I removed serana as a follower after this -.-
It happened so fast :s

RIP Nadja Stonearm.

You belong to Boethiah now. Lieth decided it was the best revenge for all the insults and torments you put her through when she lived at Jorrvaskr. And damn you for flirting with Vilkas. Plunging that blade of sacrifice into you felt just right.

^^I've noticed myself that Serana isn't exactly the best company to keep if you care what happens to your NPCs.

^Giving her to Boethiah is OK in my book, but making her a Russian is taking things a little bit to far.

RIP Belethor.
I don't even know how it happened - I stopped by your shop while I was in Whiterun one day and you weren't there. You were in a pine box in the hall of the dead. You were one of my favourite shop owners.

Faendal- Don't let the door to the Hall of the Dead slam you in the ass on the way in! You shouldn't have attacked me in Rorikstead when I took out that vampire bard. I thought we were mates, I gave you all kinds of good gear (including my second set of Ebony Mail, Badass dragonbone bow and sword) and hooked you up with Gerdur. Well you made a fine first meal for the Ebony Blade of Mephala. Now Gerdur can mourn over you naked corpse bobbing in the river next to the Riverwood sawmill.

RIP Madena (aka Maddy), formerly court wizard of Dawnstar, faithful companion on many travels, ever reliable healer and (despite your qualms about the use of destruction magic) a badass mage I was glad to have at my side in many fights - until the fateful day we fought that Bone Dragon near Dead Man's Respite whose attention you held while I kept shooting it in the back, buying our victory with your life. When Cosnach returned to my side alone after the fight my heart was filled with forebodings which I refused to believe at first, and we kept searching for you till nightfall; only next morning did we find you dead in the river, and I was forced to accept the cruel truth. We laid your body to rest on the altar just outside Dead Man's Respite, covered with your cloak and adorned with mountain flowers and a briar heart. Who would have thought the leave of absence Jarl Skalde denied you would end like this... Sylvaine will take a long time to forgive herself for letting you die. Farewell, coven sister, I'm glad to have known you.

Exactly! And Father Vivian O'Blivion, resplendent in his frock, was whipping up the batter for the pancakes of his flock... (But I suppose I'd better stop that here before we get too far off topic.)

RIP Bandits at Bleak Falls Barrow. Wait, why am I wishing them a RIP? You know what, [&@%!] them. They attacked me first and it was self defence.

RIP Arvon the S'wit. Avrel the Swift. Running into the draugr was very bad for your health.

RIP that dragon that attacked Whiterun. Without you, Gharel would not have discovered he is Dovahkiin.

RIP Hod. I didn't realize that you would be dumb enough to attack those Hired Thugs that Orgnar sent after me, when I used fury on one of them. Sure, you defeated one of them, but then got impaled by one of his buddies. Now who am I supposed to sell firewood to, in Riverwood?

RIP Lileth Maiden Bloom. But your death was not in vain for you took down a master vampire with you. Gharel wishes that he had noticed it before it was too late as he wasn't even aware of it untill he discovered your body in the morning.

RIP Whiterun Guards at the Whiterun Western WatchTower. Gharel avenged your deaths by killing the giant that killed you during a dragon attack.

RIP- Nazeem I guess that last trip to the Cloud District I helped you with was just too much. I will give you a 10 out 10 for form and grace as you flew from the top step, over the market square to bounce off of the porch of the alchemy shop.
P.S. I sold your ring to cover my 25gp bounty, Thanks.

RIP- Mistwatch bandits, I know you were all just chillin' and minding your bidness when you became lunch for a certain werewolf ( the Orcs were a bit tough though) but, you all provided an hour and a half's entertainment as I used the drawbridge to catapult your corpses into the tower.LMFAO

You might want to try using the edit button Torapa, just some friendly advice.

Anyway, R.I.P Ondolemar, there was only so much Yashar could take, and he did throw a better fireball than you, and no one noticed when you died a horrible, painful, flaming death; because you're an [&@%!] and not even Igmund misses you, ya [@#@]. I hope you get reborn as a diseased rodent so you get squashed like you deserve.

RIP Delphine and Esbern. You should have listened to the Dragonborn when she told you to gather your things and get the %$&! out of the Reach instead of thinking you could order her around and tell her to kill someone who did more to help her defeat Alduin than the two of you and your sorry order combined. Fools.

And although this is not an NPC obituary, I know no better place for it:

Farewell, Sylvaine Emrys. It was a helluva lot of fun playing you, and you took me to places I'd never been before, from your initial struggle for survival against the odds of Frostfall on the northern coast through the sense of homecoming when you claimed your birthright joining the Forsworn and your discovery of your destiny as the Dragonborn to your glorious victories over Miraak and Alduin himself... I rarely got immersed into another character as much as I did into you. Who knows, some day the mystical force known to the initiated as 'restartitis' may yet bring you back from Hircine's Hunting Grounds; but until such time: farewell.

Farewell, my followers:
Cosnach - faithful husband, fearless warrior, ever reliable protector, a great cook (as long as you could put some mead into it) and passionate lover (if not too drunk to perform); you were so much an integral part of this playthrough that you felt like another player character at times.
Aranea Ienith - I don't know what I'll miss more, your suave voice or your awesome destruction and conjuration skills.
Eola - yes, I know I'm one of Namira's faithful now without you reminding me of it twice every minute; still, your unflinching support and devotion were much appreciated.
Muiri - yes, I understood that adventuring wasn't entirely your cup of tea; Auntie Bothela will take good care of you - but do me a favour and stop fretting about Alain, OK?
Madena - you had your own obituary a few posts past.

Goodbye everybody, it was an awesome game.
__________________________________________________________________________

ETA, new game:
RIP Alvor. I seriously thought you hadn't seen me nick that Orcish warhammer until you charged at me brandishing your axe and yelling "I'll mount your head on my wall!" while I was having breakfast at the Sleeping Giant next morning. If Gorr hadn't stepped in it would have been my corpse making ugly blood stains on Delphine's floor instead of yours.

Oh, I didnt know there was a memorial thread.
I would like to say r.i.p. to my first horse. I don't know what happened to you. I left you outside of Mzulft and I never saw you again. I didn't give you a name, simply calling you horsey when needed. I did like your cute sandy and white face, which is missed.

This happened a while back, before I joined the site, and I hadn't thought to memorialize the NPC until now.

RIP Angrenor Once-Honored. I'm sorry it had to be you. The game decided to kill an NPC and all I could do was reload earlier saves and do things differently until the game picked someone I wouldn't miss so much. It was nothing personal, and I actually kinda liked you. However, my character doesn't spend much time in Windhelm, so you wouldn't be missed as much as the Riften NPC's (Synda Llanith, Shadr) it had been trying to kill, instead. You were sacrificed so that they could continue to live.
