Rest in Pieces Thalmor Justicar. Finally managed to kill someone after being turned into a werewolf in the Companions quest line. Shame Aela had to spoil my moment by referring to me as a maggot, thank you so much mummy!

R.I.P. Sabrecat, I caught you unawares and shot you straight in the butt hole with an arrow.

So I'm not the only person who lost tons of people to Master Vampires?

Oddly enough, while those attacks persisted for a while after I beat Dawnguard's MQ, they seemed to have stopped once the Miraak cultists attacked me with Dragonborn installed. I wonder if the script for that overwrote the old data or something. Like, if the new DLC was meant to override the older one.

^Nah, that's a pretty common phenomenon, as far as I've gathered; you know these Skyrim people, they all want to be heroes when the sensible thing would be to grab your wife and kids and lock yourselves in the cellar  . Speaking for myself, Amren and Balimund are as of now the only now the only NPCs I've lost to randomly attacking vampires other than myself, but I've read complaints from people who've fared far worse.

You leave Nazeem alive long enough for him to be killed in a random attack?

I've never had a vampire kill a character that deserved it. Nazeem, Agrenor Once-Honoured (For being the only killable person of value to Rolf Stone-Fist) and that rude beggar in Riften are all on my list of "Please get killed by something other than me". I think I might have to start an assassin character to rid myself of all the lame NPCs, I never murder anyone..

On that note..
R.I.P: Random chicken in Riverwood, Alvor, Sven, Faendal and that drunk guy.. Embry maybe? I swear these dragons and vampires are working together..

I usually clear out the crud like Nazeem as soon as I get out of Helgen, once they are all dealt. I return to Helgen and start my game properly.

R.I.P. Dark Brotherhood, finally I can go back to sleeping without having to worry about being kidnapped.

From yesterday:

RIP Narfi.
It was nothing personal. Just business.

RIP Ennodius Papius.
Shot in the back while he gawked at a Dragon's smoldering remains. Nobody even noticed that he had been murdered because they too were busy staring at the remains.

RIP Beitild.
No distractions such as a smoldering Dragon skeleton existed in Dawnstar that fateful day. Instead, you have one slightly bored assassin with nothing better to do than stand on top of a building and wait for you to enter the correct position. Shot through the heart by an arrow fired from the roof of the White Hall. Mission accomplished.

Edit:
I forgot a couple... Meh.

RIP Alain Dufont.
From what I hear, you deserved it. And, trust me, getting past those bandits was easy. Even if they were coming at me with Daedric and Dragonbone weapons.

RIP Nilsine Shatter-Shield.
Died very suddenly and for no apparent reason. Authorities suspect some sort of evil being with divine powers killed her.
Actually, it was a console kill. I just didn't feel like killing her myself.

R.I.P -

Adrianne Avenicci, you fought well against the vampire menace at the gates of Whiterun, unfortunately they raised you as a thrall after you died, we had no body to bury 3:

Belethor, even though you were just out for a walk when the vampires attacked Whiterun you defended the city with your life, you never did get to sell your hypothetical sister..

Everyone in Windhelm, that dragon was too much for the city at war.

Sigrid, you defended Riverwood against a dragon attack with a rusty iron knife with no armor..The bravest and stupidest person I ever knew.

A Miraak cultist fireball'd the begger Edda clear into Riften's Canal during their attempted assassination of my Bomseri Dovahkiin. Said Dragonborn later received an inheritance of 100 gold (minus taxes, of course) from her. Beggar? Scam artist, more like!

Oh, maybe it was her life savings. Or all the coins she collected from your charity. :P

Life savings? I wonder what kid of shoes she was saving up for... >.>

Hehe. I just got the mental image of a beggar like Edda in her tattered robes strutting about in shiny pink stilettos.

I had no idea you were playing the Lithuanian version of the game.

Spoiler:
RIP Vittoria Vici.
I completely forgot to loot your wedding clothes. Meh. Not that I would ever wear them, anyway.

RIP Asgeir Snow-Shod.
What better way to end a job than to have both the bride and groom dead?

RIP Vulwulf Snow-Shod.
I heard what you had to say about the Imperials, and I'm proud to say that I'm the one to have shut you up. From-Blackest-Reaches has a deep hatred of Stormcloaks. You should have been more careful.

RIP Nura Snow-Shod.
From-Blackest-Reaches was in a bad mood, okay?

RIP Gaius Maro.
You should have payed more attention to that threat. Not that that would have changed anything.

RIP Aeri, Kodrir, Leifur, Ulundil, Dravynea the Stoneweaver, Kjeld, Kjeld the Younger, Ganna Uriel, Gemma Uriel, Roggi Knot-Beard, and a whole lot of Stormcloak Guards.

Nerani was going on a Vampire Lord rampage not long before she was killed.
Anga's Mill, Windhelm, and Kynesgrove just happened to be in her path.

RIP Amren. Sigh. The master vampire and his thralls killed you inside Whiterun before anyone had a chance to defend you. Damn them to Oblivion! Your sweet disposition and name will carry on...Felina and her family mourn your loss. And she will kill Harkon and his friends in your honor. She even dragged your body to your house and displayed flowers all over for everyone to mourn. *tears*

R.I.P Un-named Imperial Guard, Nobleman and his horse. I thought you might have something of value on you, being a nobleman and all.
R.I.P Three revelers who decided to have a party in the middle of a grassy plain near Whiterun. I didn't have any alcohol to offer you because I drank it all so killing you was the only way to get that Charmed Necklace. One of you actually helped me kill the others, but loose ends and all. Also you didn't have clothes on and reminded me of a courier.
R.I.P Faendal.. Again, I don't know why you insisted on attacking me when I kill those revelers. You had no problem murdering that guard and horse earlier. i didn't even get my last few levels of free archery training.

I started a new Orc Warrior and I'm finally experimenting with being a more evil bandit type this time. it probably won't keep up, but It's fun anyways.

RIP Belethor and Sigurd. Kudos to the two of you for engaging that master vampire who apparently attacked Whiterun while the Harbinger and his Companions were sleeping. These attacks are becoming a bit of a nuisance, but I'll be damned if I do the Dawnguard questline on yet another character to stop them.

On the other hand, if I'd known that Ysolda would take over your shop (and if this weren't my honourable Dunmer char) I'd have killed you myself long ago.

No idea. If Sigurd had survived, I'd have expected him to take over, as he worked for Belethor; apparently Ysolda was next in line for the throne counter. I seem to remember reading on the wiki that she inherits The Bannered Mare too if Hulda dies. I bet she has secret plans to take over all of Whiterun in the end, what with her flourishing business relations to the Khajit caravans, dealing Sleeping Tree Sap and what not. A woman to be reckoned with!
