Ma-Dar'do

Freshly escaped from wrongful imprisonment.
After getting out in the open made a break for the first place that looked "safe" and accidentally killed a hunter before calming down in a cave.

Keeping silent out of fear she sees a robed individual in the cavern.

Something's not right, Ma-dar'do jumps at this person and a fight ensues... Ma-Dar'do doesn't feel right.

Need some advice. My nord mounted his horse wich then launched high in the air and crashed, killing my character.
Under my system of "conditions are irrelevant" I should delete him.
What do you think?

I think the mighty Lord Sheogorath deemed your character worthy of a flying horse. Shame they could not control it.

Clearly a glitch, so you shouldn't delete him.

Some advice, just avoid horses altogether. They're very homicidal. You never know when one might come swooping out of the sky to push you off of a ledge.

Bilen escaped Helgen with Ralof and together they made there way to Riverwood. On their way Ralof explained to Bilen the importance of the Guardian Stones. Bilen chose the Mage stone and Ralof tried his best not to judge.

When they got to Riverwood Ralof's sister agreed to let the two of them lay low in her house for as long as they like. Bilen made some easy septims chopping up wood. While in Riverwood he helped out a fellow elf by the name of Faendal with his love life. Now that Faendal's romantic rival Sven is out of the picture Faendal has Camilla all to himself.

After buying Faendal some leather armor, Faendal agreed to accompany Bilen on his journeys in order to repay him for his help.

Bilen Uvani and Faendal fought a ravenous wolf on their way to Whiterun, nothing Bilen's flame and shock spell combo couldn't handle. After the wolf, Bilen and Faendal came across some Imperial legionaries marching along the road to Whiterun with a Stormcloack prisoner. Bilen and friend decided not to die and walked past them.

When they had reached the city walls they saw a group of warriors battling a giant at some farm. Faendal shot his arrows and Bilen charred it with his flame spell. When the giant finally fell Aela the Huntress commended them for there help and told them to join to companions. Bilen respectively declined the offer.

Now in Whiterun they went to the Bannerd Mare for drink and bed. There the duo met a mean Nord woman, Uthgred the Unbroken. After several hours of heavy drink Bilen got angry and challenged Uthgred to a brawl. Uthgred mopped the floor with Bilen, forcing Bilen and Faendal to run out of Whiterun in humiliation.

Bilen promised Faendal he'd get their lost pride back. Faendal inquired how, to which Bilen said they'd go to the first fort they find and relieve it of all her treasure. And so they wondered through the night until they came across a watchtower west of the city. There they rested for the night, sleeping soundly knowing there were three capable guards posted there.

Going to take my 4th crack at this
Name: Matthew
Difficulty: Expert
Goals: Complete main quest, at least one guild quest line, reach level 50

Race: Breton
Skills: Conjuration, Alteration, Two handed, Block, Archery, Alchemy, Restoration

Got out of Helgen and headed to Riverwood. Sold my loot and upgraded my supplies. Planning on making some coin as an alchemist. Need some startup gold, so I'll have to settle for chopping wood for now. Need to save up some gold before heading to Windhelm/Winterhold for some training in Alteration/Conjuration/Two handed. Gotta stay alive!

Surprisingly, no. I don't know if its just that I'm too good at the game or what. I'm on master difficulty using light armor and daggers. Just goes to show how good sneak is at keeping you alive.

Alchemy was a difficult way of life for Matthew, and he quickly lost interest. He decided to find a transmutate spell tome rumored to be held by bandits north of whiterun. He recruited a wood elf from riverwood and took halted stream camp with the help of his flame atronach. The bandit chief nearly had him beat, but managed to kill him at the last second.

Smithing was not his cup of tea either, so he just transfored the iron to gold and sold it. Not bad imcome, but not much better then chopping wood. Jumped on a cart to Windhelm and got some two handed training from a drunk in the local inn.

level 4

RIP Matthew

After chopping wood forever and saving his gold, he traveled to winterhold to train in alteration and conjuration.

Did this several times, and even raided a few dungeons with faendal.

Got taken by surprise by two ice wolves while traveling from winterhold towards dawnstar. (no fast travel, and no carraige from winterhold). Died at level 10 (two perks unspent) day 12

Perhaps I over did it with expert difficulty.

I'm going to keep playing a bit longer to test out this two handed, conjuration, alteration, archery build.

EDIT: Holy crap, I just realized I contacted rockjoint a while back and forgot about it, dammit, my gimped two handed could have been the difference!

Created a forum login for the occasion, started playing Skyrim again and decided to make a character that was outside of the usual for me. I always joked with a friend of mine about a "hardcore" or "Dead is Dead" game mode as described in this thread.

Heark gro-Derp
Level 16 Orcish Werewolf
Expert Difficulty-Killed by one particularly skillful Imperial Archer
