So many dead Skyrim discs.

I treat mine like the holy grail of discs after having so many games break. Is it just me or did companies switch to lower quality materials for their discs and cases recently?

RIP 12 legionnaires at fort amol and 27 at windhelm, as well as galmar stone fist and ulfric stormcloak.

Agreed , I treated my Battlefield 3 like a new-born Panda and it still had a minor scratch and broke

The only recent damage I've had done to any discs is the little clear ring in the center. The new Xbox cases have this crappy push in tab that cracks the ring after a while. While it doesn't break the disc it makes it worthless for trade-ins. Apparently it's another stupid plan by game publishers to make people stop trading games in.

New game started and the first non-quest related casualty is;

Balbus who in yet another playthrough, is randomly found laying dead - This time on a road across the river east of Whiterun.
The suspicious part is that Talsgar the Wanderer was standing near his corpse when I arrived.

It's kinda cool how those vampires randomly attack towns in Dawnguard, but I always get a slight tinge of guilt when I get a letter of inheritance from some NPC I failed to save. Why, Nestor Eagle-Eye? You were an old man. You had no fighting equipment on you. Why didn't you simply run into the Winking Skeever instead of trying to fight a Volkihar Master Vampire? What did you think you were going to do to him, make him die of laughter? You will be missed. I'll have to get my bonus for giving one gold to a beggar somewhere else now.

RIP Adrianne Avenicci I really thought you could take that Vampire that killed you. I striiped your corpse and looted your shop in your memory.

NPC THROWBACK: RIP Sickly Bernice, i dont actually know if you died but i never got you that cure you wanted so i assume "certain death" was right around the corner with you :/.

She died helping me fight Alduin, the coward turned tail and ran but not before he took her life, she now rests beneath the broken wordwall at the top of the throat of the world, her shield and sword in hand.

RIP Kodlak Whitemane , you were an underused character , one of the few i truly liked in this game , and i wish they had given you more dialouge and a better role in the companions storyline , as well as a hand in skyrims politics as the loading screens imply , but alas , it was not to be

R.I.P Taarie, that ancient dragon was the first to attack Solitude, and the big wall between Castle Dour and the market didn't help

I was testing out the Sunhallowed Elven Arrows and proceeded to go on a killing spree. Fortunately, I'm with the Guild and only had to pay just over 2500 gold.

I couldn't help but overhear your conversation with Madesi. Little did you know that an Argonian assassin was lurking behind you and waiting to strike. By the way, I looted your market stand. And every other shop in Riften... As well as Solitude, Markarth, Falkreath, Whiterun, Dawnstar, Winterhold, and Windhelm.

RIP approximately 15 Dawnguard agents...
I'd very much appreciate it if you would stop littering my lawn. It isn't exactly easy to find the weapons you drop on that hill. They have a habit of sliding.

Good bye Delphine, you were helpful and may have even had a point but the dragonborn does so hate ultimatums. And Esbern I would have liked to spare you but the risk was too high.

R.I.P the entire Snow-Shod family, I don't know why the guards defended me from you after I killed but now you're all dead.
R.I.P two random Penatus Oculatus agents, after the wedding turned sour the Stormcloaks took you out first.
R.I.P half of Morthal, when I turned into a werewolf and killed Lurbuk the guards sided with me and started killing random NPCs who attacked me.

I think these Stormcloak guards revere me as a god and decided they have to kill anyone who wrongs me regardless of if I'm a werewolf or not.
It's good to be the Dragonborn.

R.I.P Eastmarch Guard. When the Master Vampire attacked Darkwater Crossing, you were their only defence, until I decided I didn't want the villagers dead.
I hope that sword through the head didn't hurt too much.

RIP Stenvar, who got overrun by a bunch of Falmer. He was my favourite follower.

^^I think Stenvar has a RIP on here from me as well some pages back. Murdered by his "loving wife". muahaha
