When I start this my character will be called Top Cat.
Spoiler:
Image

He is a Khajiit con man from the Imperial City and has come to Skyrim to make money. He is kind of a jack of all trades character looking for a way to get riches and fame.

This was my first character playing on Master difficulty. Did something stupid: underestimated the frost spiders. Got killed in the tutorial. Is it fair to have a do-over on that one?

Nope. Dead is dead.

You're free to restart though.

Ra'Zhar and Kharjo are now walking from Dawnstar to Riften. No fast travel, carriage, horse; just walking. We'll see how this turns out. Maybe they'll take a stop at Winterhold.

EDIT: Is it just me, or are Khajiits REALLY popular in this thread? O.o

Ok... Annoying but I'm starting again with same character, Stephen. If this one dies, he'll be gone forever. He's gonna travel to Windhelm to meet his relatives on foot after getting supplied in Riverwood. Also, if he can survive the journey to Riften and back, I want him to marry the Argonian there cuz I'm kinda a scalie...

The 32 beside Rorcus, is that his level or his age?

Most likely age, since he only lasted for 2 days.

Ra'Zhar and Kharjo made it to Riften after hijacking a horse in Windhelm. Now level 5, Ra'Zhar's poking around to find the Thieves Guild.

You know, playing Skyrim rogue-style is excessively easy with god mode on.

Which is why Ra'Zhar is primarily a mage.

Really thinking of trying this, any strategies for when things go wrong. Like you get jumped buy a saber cat early, I've ran and died many times lol. Builds that offer better surviveablity?

Just run.
RUN.

Seriously, that's pretty much all the help I can offer you. Sometimes life (or death) isn't exactly fair. It's what you do in situations like those that make these runs so fun.

I guess I'd recommend a fighter-thief kind of character, for the stealth and the health.

What really worries me is with one character i mopped the floor with the whole cave, then the last guy almost one shotted me. I mean i could just barely see the red in my life bar. I died before i could even think about running.

No one said you had to do it, man. If you need practice before you try a D.I.D run, then practice.

That's an interesting challenge.

I'm busy with another game right now but when I have the chance I'll probably create a Khajiit, an Orc or an Argonian. I'll let you guys know.

On second thoughts: i'll join when I get to my PC. This laptop has this annoying habit of ignoring when I press mouse buttons.

I ain't complainin. This interests me. I ain't ever really done a DiD before either. Ok here's Stephen's status.
On the road between Riverwood and Windhelm, he fought a lot of wolves, a couple Skeevers, and a necromancer. Restoration and Alteration magic helped him survive. Thought he was gonna have to fight a bandit, but the bandit was running past him to kill a deer. Found a shrine to Talos, and he was excited as Every item was useful. Steel Mace, Steel Gauntlets, Steel Helmet. Oh yeah, he's not using all light armor. Just using light body armor, and maybe light shield when the heavy ones weigh more. The worst part was when he got curious and checked out a structure, and a Spriggan popped up. It hit him with a ranged magic attack ONE time and almost killed him. But now he's made it to Windhelm safely.

You misunderstand, I'm referring to this kind of gameplay as a whole, Roguelike.

I created Fillimani Arannir, a wood elf tribal rogue-warrior. His goal: Kill any non-tribal wood elves.

Ah. Sorry, I misunderstood.

Still, I'm playing on PS3, so... no god mode for me.

Anyways, Ra'Zhar and Kharjo now have the Thieves Guild backing their quest for fortune up, and they have recently re-adventured back to Dawnstar, avoiding guards and accepting a quest to help get rid of the nightmares caused by the Daedric Prince, Vaermina.

Okay I admit it, after dying twice more and continuing. I'm not hardcore enough yet to create a character with so much personality, then throw him away. Maybe I will do DiD someday. Not now though.... This guy will just be a character to roleplay with on Master I guess.
Unrelated, I picked up a bottle of mead. A little boy said "That was just laying around?! Wish I got it first."

I started a wood elf for this challenge

I'm going to put every level up into stamina. No health or magic.

I'm also not going to cast any spells whatsoever. Archery, sneak, alchemy, smithing, and maybe a bit of one handed. May also put some perks into pickpocket if I have some to spare.

Will wear some light armor, but only the primitive kind, fur or leather maybe. Will smith them as best I can, no light armor perks.

He will spend most of his time hunting the wilderness and gathering ingredients as he travels. I plan to increase my smithing skill crafting armor made of animal hides, as well as some bows and daggers. Will sneak into some bandit camps for some loot, especially arrows. Will enter town every now and then to sell off some loot, and do a bit of thieving and pickpocketing. Will likely join thieves guild.

Was going to play on master difficulty. However, I think with 100 health and little armor protection, adept will be enough of a challenge. I'll post an update if when he bites the dust, or lives a surprisingly long time.

Just a though, is the DID run still supposed to be the Dovahkiin or are we ignoring the main quest so we don't have shouts?

Anyway - Death - Grobakh Face-Stomper, 20th of Last Seed 4E201, Killed by Ice Wraiths at the Weynon Stones.

His corpse lay frozen in the snow under the shadow of the mighty Talos.

He was carrying 1 Conundrum Ignot, A suit of Iron Armor, an Iron warhammer and roughly 200 gold.

Level 3, Two Handed, Heavy Armor, Steed sign. Was short lived only notable achievement was gaining the mace of Malog Bal.

Will be making another char soon XD
