Great House Redoran
House Rules:
1. Follow all the Official UESP Rules
2. To contribute in a positive manner to House activities and discussion
3. To show other members the upmost respect at all times
4. To respect and serve the House faithfully
5. Have TONS O' FUN!
6. Be honorable to your house brothers and Archmaster.

Member Rights and Responsibilities:
Archmaster:
Rights/Powers:
· To begin new House discussions and/or activities with mod team approval
· To expel (from the House) members who violate the rules, after 3 strikes
Responsibilities:
· To administer all House Redoran related threads and discussion
· To communicate with relevant mod team members and leaders of other Houses
· To enact resolutions of House administrative discussion
· To keep all members up-to-date and informed on House business (via updates to the Redoran thread and PMs)

Councilman:
Rights/Powers:
· To begin new House discussions and/or activities with Archmaster approval
· All the powers necessary to the administration of their specified areas (within reason)
Responsibilities:
· To follow the House and UESP Rules
· To further be active in House activities/discussions in order to retain the rank of Kinsman
Kinsman:
Rights:
· To contribute suggestions to House administrative discussion
· To vote on major House business
Responsibilities:
· To follow the House and UESP Rules
· To be active in House activities/discussions in order to retain the rank of Kinsman

Retainer:
Rights:
· To be involved as much or as little as they wish in House discussion and events
· To contribute suggestions to House administrative discussion
· To vote on major House business
Responsibilities:
· To follow the House and UESP Rules

Hireling (and non-members):
Rights:
· To comment on/in any and all House related discussion
Responsibilities:
· None other than to follow the Official UESP Forum Rules

NB: the rights and responsibilities of lower ranks generally apply to higher ranks

Not sure if I am out of my mind hungover or there is a problem responding to PMs, so in response to your invitation to join GHR, sure... happy to. No idea what really is required as a member here though.

I feel like clicking the option of "learn more before deciding" or whatever it tells you on the game when joining a faction... lol. Think I have been playing too much.

What's required for a member really is just to stay active in Great House activities and discussion's. For example we have a Role Play about to start up you can go over there and sign up. And as far as playing too much, we all play too much Elder Scrolls lol. The Battle for the East Discussion Thread

I'm not part of this house but to make things here more convenient, shouldn't Duruza edit the first post and perhaps make a link to this post? So people get right to where they should go when they first arrive to this lovely thread :mrgreen:

EDIT: oh, also a tip to you Ezkaton: If you put all of your updates in the same post (post in the lik above) people, again, will easier find what they seek in the house :mrgreen:

. Even though I’m not a member of the guild, I have a Redoran character and I like the faith shown by the house, to family and to the Temple. An honourable trait indeed.

and @Avron my most favorite thing about Redoran is the importance of Respect, and a Redoran's seriousness, and finally they don't cause drama.

I kind of agree with that. There's no special glory or authority in us, in cases like this we are plain members. I would actually prefer to have a covert identity, if I join, but I don't believe that's possible.

I must politely stay out of Great House politics, my friends: I am the ever watching Empire, there in the corner, where you like me some days, dislike me the rest. (And hopefully having a better run at it than most Imperials, oh, my.) I was just hoping to start a pleasant little conversation about my favorite House with some of its biggest supporters. I am aiming to replay Morrowind and someone said to me, "Why not be in Hlaalu? They are the best!" and another said, "No, Telvanni is the best, they are crazy wizards!" and I, of course, said, "Nonsense! I demand honor and glory!"

So, I was wondering why you do, too! And because I miss a good Morrowind conversation. Tis my favorite, you know.

I wouldn't mind a good old Morrowind conversation either. I like Redoran and I enjoyed the quests for Athyn Sarethi, especially the one to find the Mad Lord of Milk and to rescue Varvur Sarethi. However, some of the earlier quests annoy me a bit, especially the very first with the Mudcrab pests. That was a long walk for little return.

I enjoyed the first Hlaalu one, where you must infiltrate House Redoran, a lot. I wish you could have taken that a bit further in-game. :mrgreen:

I've just got a minor administrative message. It has been brought to my attention that your Archmaster, Ezkaton, has not been frequenting the forums of late. I've PMed and emailed him and I'll let you know when he replies, but for now I think it would be best to appoint an acting Archmaster.

If their are no objections, I believe that ZombieMonkeyNZ should fill the role if he's up for it, I'll keep updating the OP if any new information comes to light.

1. Why did you choose/like Great House Redoran?
I found out that you could only join one, so after trying all three on different saves, I found that I like Redoran better, mainly because of the honor aspect of the House, and also cause the armor looks freakin' awesome! :mrgreen:

2. Who is your favorite (in-game) councilor?
In-game? Damn, otherwise I'd have said myself! :lol:

In-game, I guess would be... I don't really know...

3. If you could pick any office in the Redoran family, what would it be?
