Many apologies. I forgot to read the whole thread. One day I will be back... And then I will post pictures! :D
But until then, continue on without me.

Er... Is that ESO?
I think we were supposed to stick to Morrowind through Skyrim, according to AKB.

AKB wrote:
Most locations in Arena/Daggerfall are entirely impossible to distinguish from any other. As for Battlespire/Redguard, there is essentially one location in both those games, so it would be too easy. So yes, stick to Morrowind through Skyrim, preferably.

I can see some potential problems with using ESO. Less of us play it, so only those that do will get it.

Yeah, Skyrim's a lot better. Pretty much everybody here has played that, so they should be able to make a guess.
It's better to stick with games that most of us have played. That way people can actually make a guess instead of staring at an image from a game they haven't played before.

Anyway, that's Embershard Mine.

Oh, come on. That's like the most generic place in the game! How do you people keep getting that? You're like the human Skyrim travel guides.

Okay, you win. Three days to post a pic.

You ever see my Skyrim playtime? That'd be the answer right there.
Too many hours... Far too many hours.

Anyway...

THE GAME MASTER HAS RETURNED.

Since I was asked for clarification, ESO images ARE allowed to be used in this thread as your submission.

Even though barely anybody who has posted in this thread has played it?

Sorry, but that doesn't make much sense. If somebody posts an ESO image again and nobody who has played the game shows up, the thread is just going to go stagnant. Do you set a time limit for an image, then, so that a new one is posted if nobody has made a correct guess (or any guess at all) within the allotted time? How long would that time limit be? A week? Two weeks? A month?

It just seems best to stick with the games that most of us have played. Skyrim has been the dominant game here, and I'd be willing to bet that's because most (if not all) of us have played it. There are less images for Oblivion and Morrowind has only had two (as far as I can remember). People pick images for the games they play and they can only really make guesses for the games that they are familiar with.

Just my thoughts on it.

There is a time limit set for ALL images, one week, as my original post says.

I believe IcarusBen's image is of Daggerfall, as neither of the other two cities I was thinking of (Wayrest and Evermore) have those tents in the middle. IIRC.

As for Mauin's I believe that's the Shrine of Kynareth northwest of Raven Rock. Above Severin Manor?

Ah, my apologies. It's been a while since I last read that.

Nobody has demanded an answer yet, though. Then again, there hasn't really been much of a need for that. Most images haven't really been that difficult... Except for a few here and there, but I wouldn't be surprised if anybody else forgot (or simply didn't realize) that an answer could be demanded if nobody could figure it out.

Somewhere around there, yeah. It's nestled between Raven Rock and Bloodskal Barrow.

I'm assuming that it's your turn now, but if IcarusBen's ESO post now counts I'm not entirely certain.

I haven't the faintest idea how hard this one is.

You're north of Azura's shrine.

You're standing on the top of an unmarked island roughly west of Raven Rock.

Surprisingly, I actually had some good weather there. It was an ash storm moments before that.

You look like you're in Dementia, and the only ruin there I remember is Xavara, so... Xavara?

I think there's a few ruins in Dementia, but yes. It's Xavara.

Seryna-Sheogorath was having much fun killing the Zealots inside. Blood makes pretty patterns when she hits them in just the right ways.
And to think... The poor girl never used to be like that.

Well, she wasn't. It's funny how much the loss of a good friend, her family, her soon-to-be-husband, her unborn child, and the extended hand of the Prince of Madness changed her. Okay it's not really Sheogorath's fault, but... Still. Once upon a time she was a relatively ordinary adventurer. Then all the stuff for Oblivion happened and she went completely mad.

Dementia suits her more than Mania, though. Eh. Unless Manics like making art out of spilled blood and mutilated corpses.
She is Sheogorath, so I suppose it makes sense for her to have elements of both Mania and Dementia. I just wish I could make her look like she does in my head (she was horrifically scarred after going through the Great Gate outside of Bruma). Then she'd really look like she's half Manic (normal side) and half Demented (burn scar side).

And on a related note to your image... I keep forgetting how ugly the default rock texture is.
I think that little plant on the left might be a good hint for the location, too. I just don't feel like checking at the moment.

That looks like... one of those little bitty caves in the Rift. Let me hop into my game and I'll check if it's the one I think it is.
