I like to think of myself as the Neminda of the House  But I hardly ever can tell when you're around and when you aren't. We should think about running that 'debate' sooner or later.

Check this out then  I think that we might touch on some of the issues that would have faced the Dunmeri people around the time of the rule of the Septims, prior to the Oblivion Crisis and the Red Year.

I've added you to the ranks, you might also like to check out the House survey:

Spoiler:
1. Why did you choose/like Great House Redoran?

2. Who is your favourite (in-game) councilor?

3. If you could pick any office in the Redoran family, what would it be?

4. What was your favourite quest for the House?

5. Do you approve of Archmaster Venmin?

6. Is there anything special you do when playing a Redoran Character (roleplaying-wise)?

7. What is your favourite Redoran related quote?

Bonus Question: Have you tried PAX Redoran? If so, share a few of your thoughts on it.
What do you think of the Morag Tong?

8. Are you a supporter of the Tribunal Temple? Did you think they survived the Second Arnesian War?

9. Should Redoran militarily take back Caldera or attempt diplomacy with the damned imperial-pigs?

10. Why did you chose to serve in the honorable House of Redoran and Veloth?

11. Do you support and serve in the pious Tribunal Temple?

12. Shall we take Caldera by force, or by diplomacy?

13. Whom is your favorite Councilor? Do you feel hatred for Ald'Ruhn's fall or Pride that Redoran fell with honor in a battle against the Four Corners instead of submitting to them?

14. Do you wish to put Hlaalu and Telvanni in their place with their illegal strongholds? Or shall we merely allow the Imperial Administration take care of them?

15. Do you believe in the Morag Tong's honor and use? Or are you against them?

Nope, just do it as you can, it'd be great to hear some more opinions, and to have a little more discussion on the matter. House Redoran has a lot of untapped Lore, IMO, to be explored, and some of the questions, the ones written by Velothi, are rather interesting.

Who's the MOD for the Morrowind portion? It's probably best (like you said) to combine the two threads.

I'm fascinated by them (us), because they (we) represent the strong-arm of Morrowind. They (we) were ready to face Tiber on their (our) own, right?

If you want to merge the other thread, I guess you could PM a Mod, any will do, as there aren't really any sectionals, although Scozzar and Avron pop into the Morrowind section a fair bit.

That's true, House Redoran was the only House who wanted to fight the Septims outright, with Houses Indoril and Dres proposing to abandon the Western front and House Redoran's fightings to wage guerilla war in the Heartland, prior to The Treaty of the Armistice. Like I say, House Redoran is the shield-wall that ever protects Morrowind.

1. Why did you choose/like Great House Redoran?
Because I share their values. Strength and honour.

2. Who is your favourite (in-game) councilor?
Athyn Sarethi

3. If you could pick any office in the Redoran family, what would it be?
Anything where I can bash some skulls.

4. What was your favourite quest for the House?
Duel with Bolvyn Venim

5. Do you approve of Archmaster Venmin?
Sometimes yes, other times no. I respect his leadership abilities, but other than that...he's kind of a [censored].

6. Is there anything special you do when playing a Redoran Character (roleplaying-wise)?
Nothing unusual for me, except the fact that I'm a Nord...assisting the Redoran...

What do you think of the Morag Tong?
I think they serve a purpose. Their methods aren't necessarily mine, but they are still honourable.

8. Are you a supporter of the Tribunal Temple? Did you think they survived the Second Arnesian War?
From afar, yes. But I wouldn't want to fall under their yoke, if I could help it. And I'm not sure they survived.

9. Should Redoran militarily take back Caldera or attempt diplomacy with the damned imperial-pigs?
A warrior should always try and "talk" first, knowing that they can still draw their blade/axe if needed.

10. Why did you chose to serve in the honorable House of Redoran and Veloth?
Because of their honourable history, and their corresponding values of strength and honour.

11. Do you support and serve in the pious Tribunal Temple?
Yes. More reasons to crack skulls.

12. Shall we take Caldera by force, or by diplomacy?
See above

13. Do you feel hatred for Ald'Ruhn's fall or Pride that Redoran fell with honor in a battle against the Four Corners instead of submitting to them?
Better to fight and die on your feet, than surrender and live on your knees.

14. Do you wish to put Hlaalu and Telvanni in their place with their illegal strongholds? Or shall we merely allow the Imperial Administration take care of them?
If the Imperials don't take care of them, we will.

Nice responses Wolf, interesting that you would attempt diplomacy with the Hlaalu over Caldera. Would you say this is due respect for the Laws and the Administration, or for something like the honour of the first blow, or simply to avoid unnecessary bloodshed?

All three. My real-life background is in Criminal Justice, so even though I might want to hit something, I want to give them reasonable opportunity to back-down/out.

1. Why did you choose/like Great House Redoran?
They are the shield front, guardians to Morrowind...and I respect that.

2. Who is your favourite (in-game) councilor?
Garisa Llethri

3. If you could pick any office in the Redoran family, what would it be?
House Brother. High enough for my voice to be heard, low enough so i'm not suck doing sod all at a desk.

4. What was your favourite quest for the House?
The duel. Definitely the duel. It was fun.

5. Do you approve of Archmaster Venmin?
He's a strong leader, and he kind of knows what he's doing...thats enough for me.

6. Is there anything special you do when playing a Redoran Character (roleplaying-wise)?
Well, with my in-depth knowledge of garrisons and defences, I would hold any area against any enemy.

7. What do you think of the Morag Tong?
Swine. Simple as.

8. Are you a supporter of the Tribunal Temple? Did you think they survived the Second Arnesian War?
Im not that sure to be fair, but I like to think they did, because I am a supporter of them

9. Should Redoran militarily take back Caldera or attempt diplomacy with the damned imperial-pigs?
Send the men in! Duty! Gravity! Piety!

10. Why did you chose to serve in the honorable House of Redoran and Veloth?
Their aims, goals and motto made a lot of sense to me. And they know how to fight.

11. Do you support and serve in the pious Tribunal Temple?
Support? Yes. Serve? No.

12. Shall we take Caldera by force, or by diplomacy?
Diplomacy first. If that doesn't work, leave no one alive.

13. Do you feel hatred for Ald'Ruhn's fall or Pride that Redoran fell with honor in a battle against the Four Corners instead of submitting to them?
Honour. The greatest honour of that event will echo for eternity.

14. Do you wish to put Hlaalu and Telvanni in their place with their illegal strongholds? Or shall we merely allow the Imperial Administration take care of them?
Put them in their place and throw their bodies into the pyre. The Imperials will end up doing nothing but sanctify them.

Sorry for the VERY long time period between me joining and doing this...kind of forgot about it XD

Also, can you guess I don't like the Imperials?

She seems to fit the build, although we have no info on her ancestry or bloodline to speak of, so we cannot be sure. Interesting thought though.

That is quite awesome I knew there was a reason I liked you :P. I agree though, it seems the way that House Redoran would go with it.

@BlackDrake, never would have guessed about the Imperials. Just don't spend too much time with Empire . I quite like this:

When it comes to conflict outside of war, there's no reason to anywhere beyond just one level above your opponent's use of force. And in that situation, if you threaten Hlaalu too quickly, before you're prepared to respond, you're only going to incite Imperial interests and then you're facing both Hlaalu and the Legion. Only way to boil a frog is in comfortable water.

I think we can all agree Theodore Roosevelt was the original Redoran.

The Arch-Master respectfully disagrees.

But I'm back, school has lessened and I'm thankful for Duru for helping out with Redoran.

Indeed. The situation with the Empire complicates matters, and I would think that an approach using the evidence gathered by Miner Arobar and the PC, to petition the Vvardenfell Council might be a realistic first step in this process, rather than seizing Caldera, or similar, considering that it is an Imperial garrisoned town. The only issue is that Duke Dren is a Hlaalu in name, but he seems to be a fair and benevolent leader from my perspective, as indicated by his attempts to deal with Orvas, etc.
