I was wondering if they confirmed or what you think of being able to wear clothes under armor, and robes over armor, like in morrowind. Cause I loved the combinations i could do with both style and enchantments. If this has been discussed or confirmed true or false please post a link for me.

It hasnt been discussed on an official level, but I will tell you why it's not gonna happen.

They combined the grieves and the cuirass in order to cut down on things that needed to be computed, thus allowing them to have more people on the screen at any given time.

So given that, they are not going to add 2 more factors into the mix, which haven't been part of the game for 10 years anyways.

So to answer your question, no, they haven't said anything, and no, you will not be wearing clothing under your armor

I wouldn't mind a cloak or hood to go over armor, but such under it won't happen....

Yea ill have to agree. Its not gonna happen. They are streamlining the clothing system and combat to make it more fluid. They arent adding stuff back in that they originally took out for the same reasons they were taken out to begin with. And for the reason soda said.

Mods will probably accommodate to those who wish it. Having a nice cloak/cape/hood thingy whacked over metal armour would be pretty rad. Who knows Beth may have gone to town with the amount of stuff we can get, they have said that this new updated armour system has allowed them to make many more variants of the standard get up. I'm thinking it may be something along the lines of, take your basic steel armour set, with the cuirass/greaves being joined, all the have to do to completely change the overall look of the entire set is add something different to that main armour piece. So they could have the standard piece, one with a cloak over it, one with an increased thickness, one designed specially to better deflect arrows. And then just make sure the new additional bits are compatible with the rest of the set.

Unfortunately id have to agree i dont see them bringing clothes under armor back in, seeing how hard your character could be at the end of Obv without the extra enchantments that clothes would bring in. I would like it though if they brought in hoods/cloaks as well as more gloves and little accessories, i hated high end characters as they all tended to looked the same.
