You know, if the faces were all that changed between Skyrim and Oblivion, it would still be fantastic. Those make Oblivion faces look like the Michelin Man.

Just to clarify, these are presets that you can choose from ASIDE from creating your own, correct? We will still be able to alter sliders and tones and such on our own, right?

Either way, these look great and I'm pretty pleased that they have put so many options to choose from.

probaly because you only post in the skyrim section.. it wont count untill skyrim is released

Yeah, I'm with you there. They do look great, but if all we have is presets to choose from when we create our characters, that will be a HUGE step backwards for The Elder Scrolls. I generally a positive guy so I hope I'm not buzzkilling here. Just a thought...

I found them all on Flickr, I've been randomly checking Bethblog's Flickr photostream for a while to see if they would post new journalist pics - it was such a nice surprise!

Later, they made a post about them on Bethblog and said that these are all the character presets.

Nice, I dont particularly like fiddling for hours in the CC so I spend about a a minute in there so im happy.

Humans Vanish, Dread Father -- They are the presets, all of the journalists who posted their characters talked about having sliders and being able to change things. What we have here are the successors to the default face that we got in Oblivion.

They are specifically called PRESETS on the facebook page and on the bethesda blog. Let's all chill out for a second, they have said over and over that there are gonna be more sliders to customize this time than before

Ok, I thought I remembered the journalists talking about sliders. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one who was immediately intimidated by the word 'Preset'.

I like them. They all seem very...wild.

look at the argonion who has a red face and looks like a bird. Actually they look more like dinosaurs then reptiles.

Dinosaur is Greek and means "terrible or intimidating lizard"

They do look menacing.... Except the ones with too small eyes.

Keep in mind too that we can change body shape as well-- the fan interview says that you can pick a "light or heavy" build, and any degree in between. The G4 article also said something about making their nord "tall and muscular," -- that's a pretty vague statement, and Nords are tall to begin with, but there could very well be a height adjustment too.

I'm loving the mutton chops that some of the males are sporting. I feel like all of the races look a lot more distinct from each other in general.

lol I see, fine they look like a raptor or T-rex's face, except the one looking like a weird bird and the one with the ram horns on its head. To me they don't even look like lizards any more, which isn't necessarily a bad thing for me.

here's a link to a website where they have 20 different faces for each race (and each sex even thought they don't say it) each one i s different from the last and considering that there are more options there are (10x20)x2=400 potential completely different characters to be used in skyrim.
