A discussion was started here and here on the matter of the meaning of the phrase:

Quote:
AE HERMA MORA ALTADOON PADHOME LKHAN AE AI

My suggestion is the following:

Quote:
Knowledge obscured powers changing ideas [of] self

where "AE" as a complex concept of "is" happens to be used as both a joining term and perhaps also sets up the tense of the proceeding subject, "LKHAN" is interpolated as the primordial idea, and "ALTADOON" could be interpreted as both "weapon" and "power".

Any thoughts?

Fun fact: in the Old English alphabet, æ, being a transliteration of ᚫ, was referred to as ash tree and is likely related to ᚨ, a proto-Germanic rune for god.
