Hello friends. It has been a long time that I look for the names and biographies of the three powerful heroes in The Elder Scrolls Online cinematic trailers. Especially, the nord one has impressed me a lot. They cannot be generic symbols of the main character, because each of them has a different story. Please share your ideas about that great nord, that intelligent breton, and that stunning elf witch woman.

They are "unknown heroes of the Alliance War". Purposefully vague, sadly. The new Warden cinematic character has a name though: Boldekh.

Maybe we hear about them in the future, Because Bethesda has greatly made a potential and has done some big maneuver on them.

At most, you may expect a gloss over in an in-game book or even by a bard, but anything more is beyond wishful thinking.

They've made a lot of money selling them as costumes in ESO, so they do seem to be popular characters. A little strange that the game offers no explanation of the contents of the cinematic, especially when it literally served as the game's opening scene for a few months.

The way I see it, it's Zenimax's approach to the usual default cinematic hero. The Imperial of Oblivion, the Nord in crappy armour(In terms of stats, does look good though) of Skyrim. It is also done far better then Skyrim's sole cinematic trailer. Well, the only CGI..... the debut one, i think.

However, we did discuss a bit of it in Discord a while back and speculated that the Nord was Wulfharth. The Altmer could be the head of the Aldmeri Dominion but the wiki doesn't have the images for the NPCs.

However, because it served as the opening scene, yeah, they should have expanded on it. I doubt Bethesda disallowed Zenimax to make those characters canon due to the amount of stuff that Zeni is allowed to do and Bethesda seems happy to let them do whatever they desire as long as it doesn't contradict or retcon large parts of established lore. Bethesda is likely to just want to focus on building 4th Era lore post Skyrim once they start pre-production.

Or they'll do a Legends, name them the forgotten heroes and do all kinds of questionable retcons to force them into stuff.

Drat, I saw this thread and hoped there'd be more info on these characters, because I'm also very interested in them. Those trailers are amazing.

Nah. The leader of the Dominion is Queen Ayrenn, and the Nord hero ends up as a soul shriven.

Yes I have been thinking about Wulfharth too. But that raises the question "why the nord did not use the power of the voice, since we know that Wulfharth had a powerful Thu'um?"
