Is it possible?

The reason I ask is because the whole pc vs xbox 360 for skyrim is bugging me. I don't have a good pc but want one for run starcraft 2 and maybe Skyrim.

However, spending $1000 for one game seems absurd, but maybe for 2-3 I could somewhat justify it...

However, in the many arguments about which is better to play elder scroll games on, controls were often an issue, where despite the greater control and user-made patches/content the pc had, people preferred the xbox controller which felt more suited for the game than the mouse and keyboard (except scrolling)

So....is there an easy way to sync an xbox controller to a computer? If so how?? Wired I assume?

Hmmm it talks about having to install a disc, so apparently I need to buy another controller that will work for PC AND xbox apparently. I googled it and saw that there are wired and wireless, similar to controllers for the xbox...but I need the disc.

Will I have to buy another controller or is there a way to sync my current controllers to the pc by getting a copy of that disc somehow?

$60!!!

I just find it redundant that this controller u linked will work for both pc and xbox 360, but my xbox 360 won't work for the pc!!!

Is it true the wired controllers for xbox 360 will also work for the pc? I think they're cheaper and will be somewhat less of a ripoff since I'll save on batteries at the very least.

It is possible to link your controller to the PC. However I don't know if all games are compatible. The only reason I know this is because it says so on Fallout 3's box.

This helps with mapping keyboard and mouse inputs onto controller buttons. I've heard that Xbox controllers aren't quite 100% compatible and needs a bit a work with this program to get full functionality. Twenty american dollars though. You probably won't need it anyways. The Skyrim case cover has the "Game For Windows" logo which implies compatibility with the Xbox controller i.e It should work fine.
