Will a xbox elite Hard drive and chords work on a xbox arcade? I have an xbox elite but it has gotten the red ring of death (yay.). So, i was wondering if i bought a xbox arcade and replaced the chords with the elite hd chords and the elite hardrive if it would work the same as buying a new elite?

Check the console you're buying to make sure that it has a HDMI cable. If it does, then you should be fine.

My brother has an Arcade, and he bought a 120 gig HDD for it, which works fine. He does, as Veck said, have a HDMi-input
