These monthly competitions are a chance for you to demonstrate your creativity and talents while getting a chance to know your fellow members and have a little fun. Each month is going to have a different theme and a different talent – and maybe a surprise or two! Or not! But only one (or two, or however many people tie) members can wear the purple coins and fancy title of CotM Winner! Do you have what it takes? You're reading this, so I'm assuming you do have a web browser of some kind.

The basic rules are as follows:

This month we're asking you to design (and post) Summer themed avatars for the Moderators! Mods are peoples too, and we enjoy sun, the beach, picnics, and all things summer, just like the rest of you. In this competition, put your image editing (or creating, or copying) skills to the test by creating an avatar or avatars to be worn by the Moderating Team for the month of June! Your submissions can be fun, funny, boring, or anything else you'd like, as long as they have something to do with summer (northern hemisphere summer, please). So what are you waiting for? Let your creativity run wild!

Our schedule for the event of this month (not sure which one that is completely!) is as follows:
June 2: Competition begins! Start planning and send in those submissions!
June 25-29: Voting period – vote for your favorites!
June 30: Our winner is announced!
Please note that all times are determined by me, Musicman247, and therefore will run according to what time I say it is. (This might be largely arbitrary!)

Remember that the CotM is not possible without you, so please participate, contribute, discuss, and vote!

As you can clearly see, I devoted much time, effort, and enthusiasm into creating this work of art which I am blessed to call my entry. Admire the bright yellow sand. Can't you just feel the warm sun beating down upon those annoying particles? And observe the bright blue ocean. Can't you just hear the waves rising and falling in harmony? Can't you imagine those words being traced in the sand by the hands of some young, dyslexic UESPer?

All of the things you just said, they're happening to me.

Yeah, that's much too large to be an avatar.

Avatars can be a maximum size of 135 pixels square and 29kb. Please make sure submissions are sized accordingly.
