Competition of the Month - March Edition!

Welcome one and all to the Competition of the Month!

These monthly competitions are a chance for you to demonstrate your creativity and talents while getting a chance to know your fellow members and have a little fun. Each month is going to have a different theme and a different talent – and maybe a surprise or two! But only one member can wear the purple coins and fancy title of CotM Winner! Do you have what it takes?

The basic rules are as follows:

This month, we want to see what you'll be doing when The Elder Scrolls Online is released.
Will you be anxiously checking the mail? Jumping up and down in excitement? Going to get it at the store? Sleeping? Post a picture, drawing, or video of yourself and show us!

Our schedule for the February event is as follows:
March 7: Competition begins! Start planning and send in those submissions!
March 26-30: Voting period – vote for your favorites!
March 31: Our winner is announced!
Please note that all times are determined by me, Alarra, and therefore will run according to GMT -6/Central Standard Time. (Click here if you’re unsure when, exactly, that is!)

Remember that the CotM is not possible without you, so please participate, contribute, discuss, and vote!

Does my entry count? Technically, it is what will happen after the game is released. Except, I am not Gollum, yet I am saying that I will toss the one game into the fires of MT. Doom. Gollum shall fall into the flames with the game in his hands. That is the only was to illustrate it. It's not an image of another game's logo.

To comply with the rules, here is my entry as a Photoshop based "drawing", involving "me".

I would say no on the second one, too. I don't know if you created any of the faces, or whatever (if you didn't, then it definitely doesn't meet the requirement - it's just Photoshopping images together, not a drawing), but it still doesn't show what you'll be doing, which is a key part of it - it's just a reaction to the game.

The idea behind this was basically an ESO selfie, where you could show your excitement or lack thereof, using you - we do want original work in this. Photoshop is okay, but only if you're using it to edit, for example, a photo of yourself, or a drawing that you made (i.e. to put the game in it.)

I guess Velvet is the only one with at chance at winning then. (No way in hell will I post a picture of myself on the internet.) Technically, it is what I would be doing if I bought it. I would scrap it immediately. I sure don't want to pay $15.00 a month for a few hours of an MMO a month, Elder Scrolls or not. And no, I didn't draw the people, I just took them from the internet. I can't draw at all, paint, yes, draw, no.

If my smartphone arrives on Friday, i'll enter it and give Velvet a run for his cash. But if it doesn't, then Velvet will win by default.

What makes you think that other people aren't gonna enter? I plan to, I just haven't taken a picture yet, and I know at least one other person who plans to.

I shall lay in the park, staring into the distance with a forlorn gaze, pondering about whole predicament. The Elder Scrolls, a series I love, with a new entry that I won't be playing when it is released. Due to a combination of lack of PS4, dissatisfaction with the payment model and a general sense of indifference towards the game. Eventually I shall come to a conclusion, I'll probably try it out eventually, certainly will if it goes Free to Play. As for if it will be any good, only time shall tell. Either way, at least it will be better than Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.

Since I've preordered TES:O, I get it five days early.

Midnight: Excitedly waiting for the game to download.
6 am: Bored waiting for the game to download.
Noon: Passed out over the keyboard.
6 pm: Happily playing the game.

Also I have proved it's a drawing of me because I have brown hair and brown eyes, and am wearing a purple t-shirt and an ankh. You'll just have to ignore the fact I get fatter and thinner, that's because I can't actually draw.
