These monthly competitions are a chance for you to demonstrate your creativity and talents while getting a chance to know your fellow members and have a little fun. Each month is going to have a different theme and a different talent – and maybe a surprise or two! But only one member can wear the purple coins and fancy title of CotM Winner! Do you have what it takes?

The basic rules are as follows:

This time around we are celebrating the end-of-year holidays! Much like the Costume Contest that AKB hosted in October, we want you to show us your best holiday avatar! Wear your entry and post here to enter. We ask that you only post here saying you're entering after you have finalized what your holiday avatar will be. If you have to change it we understand, but definitely no changes once voting has begun. Hope you all have a blast! I'm looking forward to seeing your creative and (hopefully) festive avatars!

Our schedule for the End-Of-Year Holiday event is as follows:
December 9: Competition begins! Start planning and send in those submissions!
Dec 20-24: Voting period – vote for your favorites!
Dec 25: Our winner is announced!
Please note that all times are determined by me, Musicman247, and therefore will run according to GMT -6/Eastern Standard Time. (Click here if you’re unsure when, exactly, that is!)

Remember that the CotM is not possible without you, so please participate, contribute, discuss, and vote!

Is just a costume contest or are stories about Christmas allowed as well?

Since it's so short of a contest we wanted to do something simple, so it's only an avatar contest. You can post a story about your avatar if you would like, though!

Here is mine. Weep at my cuteness! Kneel before the cutest dragon the land has ever seen! Cry before me! Oh and vote for me if you want. But mainly bask in the cute power of the dovah! Also Happy Christmas or happy holidays. If you're AKB, please don't enslave us on christmas day.

I attempted to edit some green into my avatar, to get in the spirit and so forth. It ended up looking like mold. I think I'd have to find a Mandelbrot calculator which gave me red and green contrast. Sounds unlikely.
