These monthly competitions are a chance for you to demonstrate your creativity and talents while getting a chance to know your fellow members and have a little fun. Each month is going to have a different theme and a different talent – and maybe a surprise or two! But only one member can wear the purple coins and fancy title of CotM Winner! Do you have what it takes?

The basic rules are as follows:


This month we are tired of bitter chill of winter (in the northern hemisphere) or the awful warmth of summer (in the southern hemisphere)! A nice, gentle month with spring-like conditions is just what we need - especially the forum moderators and admins. This month, we are inviting forum members to create a spring themed TES avatar. In addition to the winner taking the title and purple coins, for the entire month of April the moderators will wear your avatar! Whether you want to individualize our current ones or create one mass one for us to use, the freedom is yours - get to creating!

Please remember that the board allows avatars of 135 pixels x 135 pixels max, with a file size of 29.30 KiB. If you have any problems with the size of your creation, let us know - we will gladly help you out.

Our schedule for the March event is as follows:
[March 1 - 24]: Competition begins! Start planning and send in those submissions!
[March 25 - 30]: Voting period – vote for your favorites!
[March 31]: Our winner is announced!
Please note that all times are determined by me, Avron the S’wit, and therefore will run according to GMT -5/Eastern Standard Time. (Click here if you’re unsure when, exactly, that is!)

Remember that the CotM is not possible without you, so please participate, contribute, discuss, and vote!

I'm tempted to do personalized ones for Avron and the Chipmunks. Sadly, it has nothing to do with Spring... I'll have to think of something else that's equally as clever (and spring themed).

I will somehow blend Star Trek, ES, and spring into my entry.

I had a lot of fun drawing these wish I had more ideas. Paint and flickr/photobucket gave me headaches though.

@Mr.Argonian Thank you for your gracious words. But you give me too much credit. Nevertheless, it's heartening to be acknowledged by an artist of your caliber.

@Jedi Taters Before I forget. I had planned to do avatars for Eltee, Legoless, Arch Mage Matt, and you. But yours was the only one to move past the conceptual stage. However when I was trying to add the lightsaber effect with paint, it didn't turn out well. Basically it was supposed to depict a bunny dual wielding two glowing carrots.

I tried to mix in the dragon priests, with spring, with each of the moderators. Sadly, I'm awful at MS Paint, and Gimp

No excuses! I demand tribute in the forum of CotM entries!

Actually, I just like it when everyone partakes in the fun. It makes me happy. Doesn't matter how "awesome" it looks - every entry is beautiful to the s'wit!

By the way, I feel it necessary to point out to anyone who can't tell that the being in my entry is a spriggan.
