Come one, come all! It's time for the Competition of the Month - holiday style!

These monthly competitions are a chance for you to demonstrate your creativity and talents while getting a chance to know your fellow members and have a little fun. Each month is going to have a different theme and a different talent – and maybe a surprise or two!

The basic rules are as follows:


As December is generally known as the month of your favorite moderator's birthday holiday festivities, you may have noticed the influx of holiday avatars popping up. But not everyone has one yet. This seems to have made a few of us feel left out, as you can see below:



So, for this month's CotM, your mission, should you choose to accept: make a TES-themed holiday avatar! It can be whatever you choose so long as it is avatar sized and features a creative use of holiday cheer and The Elder Scrolls. The winning avatar will be used by fellow moderator Scozzar - with credit given to you! And I'll be creating a festive banner using the top winning avatars as well.

Our schedule for the December event is as follows:
December 1 - December 13: Competition begins! Show us your avatars!
December 14: Voting starts.
December 17: Our winner is announced!
Please note that all times are determined by me, Avron the S’wit, and therefore will run according to GMT -4/Eastern Standard Time. (Click here if you’re unsure when, exactly, that is!)

That is most certainly not an avatar, AtoM, but I love it.

Who said that wasn't an avatar? All you need to do is resize it.

Thoughts so far on mine?

I happen to be a huge fan of Santa Sheo. Observe, if you will, my own entry in the CotM from last year. (And the only one I ever won, too - yippee!)

Erm, the voting is still open.

That's truly amazing Avron. I wish I could draw, but then again, that's why I use Photoshop .

I did this awhile ago and sent it to Bethesda themselves, but perhaps I should do something else. Or I could do another thread painting

I need to decide, I'll try to edit this post when I have made up my mind.

This is my official entry into the competition. Y'better not pout, y'better not cry, because Frostbite Claus is coming tonight.

Look, I'm gonna be the winner. It would be impossible to gaze upon my avatar and not be amazed at how much it fills you with Christmas spirit.

Totally a possibility. I bet my arch nemesis Arvel the Swift would have been full of holiday screams cheers, had he chanced upon such a delightful holiday creature in the barrow!

I'll review the entries thus far this morning and update the entry list. Until then, come on guys, apply! You can make Scozzar wear your avatar. Isn't that half the fun?
