Ever since X/Y I've been back aboard the series, gonna get moon with my starter Litten!

And I will name HER!.....Meow Mix.

Anyway, getting moon. No real reason, just sounds better to me.

Kinda looks like a giant bird beak...

Also, I'm gonna go Moon as well, though I'm getting Popplio. I don't know why, but I want to name it Giuseppe.

Anyone here playing Pokemon Go?

I've been trying to squeeze as much time in as I can! On my day off, just gonna wander around the whole neighborhood, drive to a park, walk there, drive to the lakeside, jog there.

I aim to collect at least six of these buggers!

I've been playing since yesterday morning, and my university campus is full of Poke stops and gyms! Not to mention, our school is stereotypically super nerdy, and nothing has proved that more than the dozens of people walking around at all hours looking at their phones clearly playing Pokemon Go. (Last night there were people out past midnight trying to take advantage of the light server load - including my friends and I!)

So it's been pretty competitive so far, with a lot of gyms switching back and forth, and high-leveled Pokemon and players. Which is awesome, of course. Myself and a bunch of my friends have been playing and we've all grouped up with Team Yellow. So far I'm level 8. I took a gym for us today and my friend was able to hold it with his Pidgeot for a while, but it's been taken for Blue now. Most people around here seem to be either Red or Blue, so we're the underdogs!

Had some trouble with the servers today, and so while I was walking around my neighborhood, I couldn't find/catch a damn thing. Frustrating. However, later I was going to pick up dinner and stopped about 10 times to catch some mons and found a few Pokestops. It was great, there is a small townhouse development that is less than a mile from my house that I've driven by nearly every day of my life that I've never been in. Today, I saw there was a Pokestop and so I had to check it out. The potential to experience new places in my home town is honestly what has me really intrigued.

Agreed! Visiting new places has risks, as we've all probably heard of this guy who was mugged of his iPhone playing this game.

However, the places I want to check out for some Pokemon action are places I don't go to much. So I'm excited!

I wish I had that experience, but I live in a small area. I still have SOME places I can go to for this I wager. The Gamestop nearby has to have something for sure!

I hate to be "that one guy", but that news story was a fake. On the brightside, at least you won't get mugged playing Pokemon :).

I'll leave now...

Wow....Even Snopes covered it. I'm surprised this one fell under my radar. I follow Snopes religiously.

In this case, I'm glad you're that one guy.

Just walked about 2.5 miles on today's Pokemon journey. Was on the trail of a pikachu, but couldn't figure out where it was. Got a staryu, exeggcute, and pinsir though. As well as some more rattatas, pidgeys, caterpies, etc. Got enough Pidgey candy to evolve a pidgey though, which was nice.

An app like this will have risks of course....I just hope no one ruins this game for everyone else via shutdown.

And I REALLY don't want to walk around armed myself just to enjoy the game. Cause I'm really enjoying it!

I think the time has finally come to upgrade to a new phone so I can play Pokemon Go. So once I upgrade my phone and the game comes out in Ireland, I'll be there. Join the blue team because they use Aritcuno as their logo and they're my favorite Pokemon. Yeah, my favorite Pokemon is a legendary, deal with it.

Should totally go out in a Team Rocket T-Shirt, live the dream. And if I fight any children lose to them.

^ That's how it's done!

Evolved my Pidgeotto into a Pidgeot. If I keep it up, I'll be dethroning the local gyms soon enough. Mwahahaha

One of my eggs hatched into a Bulbasaur the other night, it was a nice consolation after I failed to catch a Rhydon... (Cuz all the nearby stops kept giving me potions...)

Also, all glory to team Mystic!

I saw a Snorlax with a CP of 1957 in town Yesterday....Scared me to death, heh.

I went during the right time, all of the gyms kept switching owners. I was tempted to attack for the hell of it anyway.

So glad this game is doing great!

Yeah that's the one thing they really need to fix, adding more support for people in rural areas. Even if they can't add more Pokestops and gyms, you'd think they could at least put the Pokemon spawn rate equal to what it is in more populated places. Aren't Pokemon supposed to be found in the wild, anyway? Whatever happened to travelling across the land, searching far and wide? :P
